Casa Milà is a charming 18th-century Bed and Breakfast, fully renovated and located in the heart of the historic center of Pretoro. Just a few kilometers from the ski slopes of Passolanciano Majelletta and approximately 30 km from the Adriatic Sea, the establishment retains the authentic charm of its era through the use of Majella stone, handmade wrought iron, and traditional materials.
The four rooms, each with a unique character, provide modern comforts and panoramic views that encompass the sea, the Abruzzo hills, lush forests, and the Majella massif. Casa Milà's commitment to the environment is central to its philosophy, implementing eco-friendly practices such as waste separation, the use of recycled paper, rainwater harvesting, and thermal insulation. The establishment also holds Pan Parks environmental certification.
Its strategic location allows guests to explore the Majella National Park, ancient hermitages, rock mills, and the wolf wildlife area. For those seeking relaxation, the Sanctuary of the Holy Face and the Abbey of Serramonacesca are easily accessible, while sports enthusiasts can enjoy skiing and various outdoor activities at the multi-sport adventure center.
Nearby, along the coast, are the scenic Trabocchi beaches, Cala Turchino, and the Punta Aderci Nature Reserve, perfect for a day by the sea. Casa Milà is the ideal choice for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the nature, history, and culture of Abruzzo without sacrificing comfort and sustainability.
In summer, guests can have breakfast outside the structure under a gazebo in the square.
Since Covid we have changed the breakfast rules. Guests will serve themselves.
In the winter season breakfast is not available, or rather a coffee and cappuccino machine with pods and a range of packaged snacks are available: guests can always serve themselves during the day but eat in the room.
