In the charming town of Bergeggi, overlooking the beautiful beach and the island of the same name, the B&B Casa dell’Ancora is the perfect choice for those seeking a vacation filled with relaxation, the sea, nature, sports, culture, and delicious cuisine. The establishment, passionately managed by Paola Bertolotto, is situated in a distinctive house that was built in the 1970s by her father, Orazio Bertolotto, and his partner, Giuseppe Dondo, based on a design by architect Mario Galvagni.

This renowned architect, famous for the architectural park of Torre del Mare, managed to create a stunning seaside structure, taking full advantage of the steep terrain. The outcome is a "suspended" system of terraces that starts from the rooftop gardens and rises upward, culminating in a living area that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

The two rooms of the B&B are designed to provide maximum comfort and cater to the needs of guests, blending the uniqueness of the architecture with extraordinary sea views. Every detail of the property contributes to making the stay an unforgettable experience, perfect for anyone looking for a refreshing getaway in a unique and enchanting place.

Out of curiosity linked to childhood, I fulfilled some wishes, both thanks to the return to Bergeggi and to the experience at Paola's B&B. The house is striking from the outside and even inside one realizes the attention to detail to capture the most beautiful emotions. Staying here was beautiful, pleasant, relaxing, spectacular, and constructive. Well-kept, tidy, and personalized rooms like the rest of the house. The exterior is postcard-worthy. Breakfasts are rich, healthy, and delicious. In the company of the dog Alfi, who welcomes guests without words 😅. Paola is absolutely available, kind, patient, friendly, and generous. A true bed & breakfast!

I looked for it and found it as a stopgap solution, but I discovered an indescribable structure and person! Paola (manager and owner) is a fantastic and very helpful person, always with a smile! She cares a lot about her guests from the beginning to the end of the journey. If you have time and desire, stop to exchange a few words with her and you will discover a world that envelops this place, I would say almost magical. The structure is wonderful and fascinating. If you appreciate design and architecture, you will enjoy a unique place and view! The "Francesco" room is very clean and fragrant with a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Bergeggi. There is everything, nothing is missing. The breakfast is spectacular, it feels like being at home with a very attentive "mom" to what her "children" would like. This is the feeling! She is also very caring regarding intolerances, so excellent treatment! For me, it is a structure to see and experience for more than a day! Completely satisfied and I highly recommend it! Thank you very much Paola, we will come back to see you soon!

My husband and I were guests at B&B Casa dell'Ancora in the first days of March. A truly magnificent place, a spectacular view. From the windows, you could see the sea. The house is beautiful, the room very clean and the bathroom large, very clean and very warm. The breakfast was fabulous, all very fresh and abundant. Mrs. Paola is very kind and made us feel at home. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful property! Parking availability, excellent cleanliness! Right from the start we felt at home: the scent that envelops the rooms is very pleasant. Room with a wide sea view, unforgettable! The landlady is very kind and helpful; the breakfast is delicious, of quality and abundant! Alfi, the house dog, made us fall in love: one of the best properties ever visited. You feel at home! Mini-bar with water and snacks included. Highly recommended! Congratulations!

It's the second year in a row that we stay at Paola's. Her B&B Casa dell'Ancora is very welcoming, with its fresh terrace overlooking the sea for breakfasts and the two beautiful rooms. Its location on the hill above the sea and the path through the woods to reach the beach make it very convenient and relaxing. Paola is kind and friendly, making you feel at home. It will be a pleasure to go back there.

Great B&B, very clean room, path that takes you directly to the beaches in ten minutes, abundant and excellent breakfast and truly impeccable courtesy, availability and hospitality.
