The Bed and Breakfast Don Pasquale is located in the heart of the historic center of Picciano (PE), a picturesque village full of charm. The establishment is housed in historic buildings that tell stories from the past: the main residence was designed and built by an engineer and pilot from World War I, while other rooms have been restored from a noble home in the area. Each space retains the authenticity and charm of earlier times, offering spacious, bright rooms, some of which are equipped with private bathrooms.

Upon waking, guests can enjoy a hearty and genuine breakfast made with local products. It is served in the room, in cozy indoor dining areas, or on the terrace of the nearby Fontartana restaurant. This rustic venue offers special treatment for B&B guests, including a 10% discount on dinner, allowing them to savor the authentic flavors of local cuisine.

Picciano serves as an ideal starting point for exploring the beauty of Abruzzo. In just 20 km, you can reach the sea or the mountains, visit the oasis of Lake Penne, or discover nearby villages such as Loreto Aprutino, Città Sant’Angelo, and Atri. For those who wish to stay in the village, Picciano is home to the largest Museum of Traditions and Peasant Arts in Europe, created by Prof. Franco Di Silverio.

The host is very friendly, his breakfast is delicious and his dinners are spectacular. We loved the fact that a house in the center of the village was renovated and has many original elements.

Quiet village among the hills of Pescara, clean air and very welcoming locals. Mr. Antonio showed an old-fashioned courtesy. We hope to return and stay longer.

Booked in a hurry and it will. I must say that for us too it was a pleasant surprise. We were pampered by the host from the moment we arrived. The only downside, but if you are in good health, is the parking.

Great welcome. Rooms with bathroom and shower, hot water, clean environments, well-maintained historic floor with hand-crafted terracotta. The only downside was that the air conditioning did not work and I suffered from the heat in the bedroom. In the rooms of my friends who were next to us, only the ventilation worked but not the air conditioning. Unfortunately, it would have been needed in this hot June!

We were guests at this B&B on the occasion of B&B Day. It was a very pleasant discovery. It is a true gem in the historical center of Picciano. Antonio and his staff are kind, helpful, and very friendly people. Our quadruple room was very comfortable and spacious, practically a mini apartment with two rooms. The breakfast is very rich, with fresh original pastries, and is served in the attached restaurant. Congratulations to the entire staff. We will be very happy to return.

One flaw: the bed and breakfast system for 3 people reported a total of 50 euros. The manager asked for an extra 15 euros for the third bed (not declared by the bed and breakfast).

Clean and welcoming structure, spacious, with furniture that evokes a pleasant and intriguing leap in time. Excellent availability of the manager. Rich, assorted breakfast, mostly homemade; also suitable for celiacs with products of the highest commercial range.
