Il Poggio dei Pettirossi is a tourist residence nestled in the most authentic nature of Abruzzo, located in the peaceful hamlet of Vallelarga within the municipality of Pettorano sul Gizio. The property is perfectly suited for a vacation immersed in nature, without sacrificing the convenience of reaching nearby places of great interest. Sulmona, with its historic center and tradition of confetti, is just a few kilometers away, along with villages and towns of strong identity such as Anversa degli Abruzzi, Scanno with its lake, Pescocostanzo, Castel di Sangro, Rivisondoli, and Roccaraso, which are also renowned for winter sports. Additionally, the proximity to the Gran Sasso and Majella National Parks, the true green heart of the region, makes this stay ideal for those looking to combine relaxation, nature, and exploration of the territory.

The breakfast we provide, not included in our prices but available upon request (for a fee of €3.00 per person per day), consists of packaged food items (crackers, jam, Nutella, snacks, milk, coffee pods for use with the machines provided in the apartments, fruit juice, cookies). Breakfast is delivered to the room.

Great accommodation for a trip to those parts of Abruzzo, for example, we stayed in Scanno and Sulmona. The studios are very spacious, well furnished and equipped with everything, including dish soap, shower gel, and shampoo, which are rarely found in residence-type facilities. It's a shame that there is no option for breakfast with local products.

Noi offriamo la colazione con prodotti confezionati nell'appartamento ma se lo desiderate potete chiederci la colazione fresca e la potete gustare presso il bar del Belvedere a Pettorano sul Gizio all'aperto davanti alla vista mozzafiato sulle montagne ...oppure a Sulmona direttamente sulla piazza grande con vista sull'acquedotto monumento bellissimo della cittadina......alla prossima in Abruzzo

Conveniently located property for visiting the area: Sulmona, natural reserves, and Lake Scanno. Prompt solution by the manager in finding a new accommodation due to a soundproofing issue in the first room. Spacious room equipped with everything needed. I feel it would be better to review the breakfast, a bit poor and with packaged products. It would be best at this point either not to offer it or to offer it better, perhaps by creating a partnership with local businesses that can offer local products.

We stayed at this beautiful farmhouse immersed in nature for a few nights. The owners are very kind and helpful people. In particular, we want to thank them for helping us when we had a flat tire on the car and, even though it was Sunday, they immediately helped us. We had a great time and will gladly return.
