Our B&B is placed at Sulmona art city, in an area of great history, architecture and culture, in a quiet, panoramic setting, in the historic heart of the city. "La Dimora" is a prestigious home for breathing in the scent of our past, a lovely, refined building.
Surroundings
Travellers staying with us will be able to stroll around the lights and colours of the shopping streets, be amazed by the work of our artisans, explore tradition and culture along your own delicious fine food and wine trail, take in countless cultural events and unique exhibitions, exploring museums and exhibition areas, stroll in the quiet, lush gardens and beautiful landscapes.
Close by our guests will find monuments and places of interest for culture vultures, sports centres and gyms for keeping fit, ski slopes and carousels for all winter sports. Remember that just only 440 m away there is the 'Cattedrale'.

Our property is the perfect place for families who like to travel and want to feel at home, for work and business trips, for a romantic holiday in a quiet, reserved setting, if you love the peace and quiet of nature, far from the bustle of the city.

My stay at La Dimora was great! Oscar went out of his way to make sure I had everything that I needed. He helped me rent a car, gave restaurant recommendations and was very accommodating. I also enjoyed talking to him and his mother at breakfast! The location and the rooms are fantastic. I hope to be back soon! Grazie mille!

Oscar and his lovely mother are excellent hosts! We felt very welcomed and they both went the extra mile to make us feel special. The rooms are lovely, comfortable beds and many amenities. We hope to return to Sulmona in the near future and we will definitely stay at La Dimora again! Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at La Dimora. Oscar's warmth made us feel very welcomed. He gave us really good advices on activities to do and restaurants to try. We were lucky enough to have the new bedroom, which was large, with a cute balcony and a view on the mountains. Breakfast was very good with everything we needed. I hope we go back to Sulmona one day and if we do, we will definitely go back to La Dimora. See you again, Oscar!

We could not say enough about this Bed and Breakfast. Its location is perfect if you are looking to be right in the centre of one of the most beautiful cities in the Abruzzo region, Sulmona. Owner, Oscar and his mother, Maria were absolutely lovely to be around. I truly felt like I was at home. Their genuine hospitality and care for their guests is remarkable. We are so grateful that they were able to change rooms for my mother when we arrived, to accommodate her needs (even though we had already booked another room but when we arrived we had not realized the stairs would be an issue for my mother). The variety at breakfast, cleanliness and overall attention to detail are all what make La Dimora an absolute must for your stay. Oscar made sure we were happy, and we absolutely were!

Ciao, we stayed one night. The room was recently updated and was terrific. Comfortable bed. Clean and nice bathroom with firm hot water. Location cannot be surpassed. Right on Main Street and we easily found on street parking nearby. Sulmona is beautiful town with a lot of historical churches and a Roman aqueduct. A great base to see Scanno and Abruzzi region.

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questa struttura nuova, pulita ed in pieno centro: siamo stati accolti dal gentilissimo proprietario, ragazzo giovane e molto disponibile, che non ci ha fatto mancare nulla. Sulmona, inoltre, è una bellissima cittadina e la location in pieno centro ci ha permesso di visitarla comodamente. Soggiorno perfetto direi!

La Dimora ha una posizione davvero centrale. È situata sul corso Ovidio di Sulmona, dove c'è la zona pedonale ricca di negozi. La camera Sofia, dove ho alloggiato per il weekend, era un mix di semplicità, cura dei dettagli e un tuffo nel passato. Alcuni dei mobili sono antichi, ovviamente ristrutturati La camera era dotata di tutti i comfort, perfino shampoo e bagnoschiuma in doccia. La colazione all'italiana era abbondante con alcuni dei prodotti del territorio abruzzese Il proprietario disponibile, mi ha dato tutte le dritte sulla città: cosa vedere e dove mangiare.

Ci siamo trovati molti bene, il gestore è stato molto gentile e la colazione ci ha lasciati soddisfatti. Il posto è centralmente situato e facilmente raggiungibile anche parcheggiando fuori dal centro.
