Guests love it because: near the metro, in the city center, cheap, near the station, abundant breakfast, very new, the design of the property, charming property, near the airport, shopping area, spectacular view.

The B&B Colori e Note is located in the historic center of Naples, called Materdei, a district of the oldest and most characteristic Naples, in a strategic position halfway between the lower part of the city and the hilly part.

The neighborhood is also famous for the recent architectural redevelopment of its main square, Piazza Scipione Ammirato, where there is the Metro line 1 stop which is only 50 meters from the B&B.

From the B&B it is very easy and quick to reach the historic center even on foot, since the famous and central Via Toledo is only 650 meters away, about 10 minutes on foot.

To welcome guests, 4 rooms, all with private bathroom, air conditioning, independent heating, wifi, flat screen TV. The rooms, quiet and peaceful, overlook a pretty and lush condominium garden, are also equipped with bed linen and towels, bathroom courtesy set, slippers, hair dryer.

Inside the structure, in the breakfast room, a selection of teas and herbal teas, cereals, yogurts of various flavors are available 24 hours a day.

We also offer a luggage storage service for both early morning arrivals and departures with delivery of courtesy keys, to give the customer the opportunity to enjoy even the last hours of their vacation, without the weight of their luggage. For those arriving by car, the possibility of leaving the car in the garage at a very advantageous cost with the car valet service, i.e. collection and return of the car at the structure. For those arriving by plane or at the station, the possibility of having private transfers even for groups of 7/8 people.

Upon arrival and for the entire duration of the stay, the customer will be given advice on places to visit, on restaurants, pizzerias and typical trattorias (also with the possibility of reservation, where applicable) so as to be able to enjoy the city at its best and also taste the typical products of Neapolitan cuisine.

The Colori e note, offers a simple but at the same time very abundant breakfast. Naturally Mediterranean, there is no salty, we are not a hotel, but every morning you can enjoy a fresh homemade cake such as tart various flavors or a nutella crumble rather than a chocolate and vanilla variegate, a delicious camilla cake with carrots and more! We offer whole milk, partially skimmed milk, yoghurt in various flavors, various fruit juices, dry as many types of snacks, butter, rusks with nutella and various types of jam and honey, biscuits, as many as 4 types of cereals that you can enjoy with milk or yoghurt. Still drinks such as espresso, hot tea, various herbal teas and a delicious cappuccino and also American coffee.

An excellent stay and a very welcoming host. Rooms are quite large, clean & comfortable. Bathroom even though is small is very clean. Ideally located near to metro and restaurants. Gianni, the host is a very friendly gentleman who made sure my stay was comfortable. Would love to come back when in Napoli.

The host, Mr. Gianni, is very courteous. The room was very clean. The air conditioning was nice. The breakfast was decent (sweet menu only). There is a very good pizzeria Starita nearby. The location is near the Materdei metro station.

A beautiful Bed and Breakfast (exactly like the photos here), super clean and comfortable in a beautiful and quite neighborhood. The metro station is just 3 minutes away and there is also a bus station 5 minutes away from the main sightseeings. The host (Gianni) is super friendly and always there to help you with everything. The 'Colori e Note' facility is tidy and equipped with all the comforts we were looking for. The room was clean, very spacious, and the bed very comfortable. The metro that takes you to every part of Naples is just a few steps away, and the neighborhood is very pleasant to live in even in the evening. There are many excellent restaurants nearby. Gianni, the manager, is always very helpful and good company. We had a great time.

Comfortable, clean and organized place. Cozy rooms, each with its own bathroom. Very close to the metro. The owner and his collaborator are very kind and friendly people. Highly recommended!

I had chosen this bed and breakfast by reading the reviews of previous customers who emphasized the friendliness, professionalism, and care of Gianni, the manager. I must say that such positive evaluations were fully confirmed during the week-long stay I spent at the B&B Colori e Note, and I must add, alongside these merits, also the confidential and never intrusive relationship that Gianni manages to establish with the guests of the property. I can say that it is certainly the best expression of Neapolitan spirit, the one that makes you feel at home even if you are hundreds of kilometers away from it. However, it would be reductive to focus the review solely on the manager. The property is indeed welcoming, clean, tidy, and also quiet, despite being located in a populous area. It is just a few dozen meters from the metro station which then allows you to reach every part of the city, but at the same time it is close enough to the historic center to reach it on foot in just over ten minutes. In conclusion, I feel like recommending the property to those who want a stay in familiarity and relaxation, but also in comfort, without spending excessive amounts. If I return to Naples in the future, I will have no doubts about where to stay.

Gianni is a fabulous host. He provided a lot of information on what to see and what to do. He was there every morning to offer a good morning and a smile for his guests. The place is very near the National Archaeological Museum and the old city center. You can reach it on foot, as well as a very famous pizzeria, Starita. I highly recommend this b&b.

We stayed in the yellow room of this bed and breakfast for a week of vacation in Naples and I liked everything: the room, with a window overlooking a beautiful internal garden, is large and comfortable, very clean, and very quiet, with a small bathroom, but new and functional. The location of the property is perfect, in a quiet neighborhood, with a metro stop 100 m away that allows you to easily reach the station and the center, where you can also walk with a stroll. I was also satisfied with the breakfast, simple, but of good quality with coffee / cappuccino made at the moment and homemade sweets. The real added value, however, is represented by the reception and hospitality of the host, Gianni, who is very kind and smiling, always available to provide help and advice of all kinds (from what to see, to how to reach the various places, to restaurants where to eat) and always makes sure that his guests are having the best time on vacation. It is a real pleasure to start the day with a chat with him and makes you feel truly at home! I recommend everyone to try Colori e Note, and I will certainly choose it again when I happen to return to beautiful Naples.

Excellent facility, the location for visiting Naples is excellent, a quiet neighborhood one minute from Materdei metro which in just 4 stops leaves you in the center. Spectacular owner Gianni, friendly and very helpful supporting in everything. Greetings to Gianni and leave a comment, not for criticism, but just for a point of improvement: besides the excellent homemade sweets, we wouldn't have minded having some special sweet pastries or brioches for breakfast from the excellent Neapolitan bakeries. Parole ottime e preziose che sono sicuro verranno apprezzate tanto dai clienti o potenziali clienti che vorranno scegliere il mio B&B! Capitolo colazione, eh caro Alvaro, credimi, a me converrebbe anche a livello economico mettere due paste dolci, due cornetti e due brioche ma sai, capita molto spesso che ai clienti queste cose non piacciono e se non vengono mangiate subito questo tipo di cose sai cosa siamo costretti a fare noi? Buttarle nell'immondizia ed io ODIO gettare il cibo! La torta fresca fatta in casa, bene o male qualche giorno la puoi mettere su, specie la crostata, il plum cacke, la ciambella, la sbriciolata, tutte cose che se non vengono mangiate una mattina posso metterle anche il giorno dopo! Mi costa di piu mi rendo conto ma per fortuna mediamente le cose che metto io vengono apprezzate mille volte di piu rispetto ad un banale cornetto o una brioche che puoi mangiare in QUALSIASI bar/pasticceria di Napoli! The structure is very convenient due to its location, it is not in the center but a few steps from the metro. It is well renovated, the rooms are clean and the bathrooms are new. The manager welcomed us with kindness and availability giving us many tips on places to eat. I might enhance the breakfast but for the room price it is more than adequate. I would recommend the structure.

Ciao Rosa! Ci tenevo tanto a ringraziarti per la bella recensione e per le ottime parole spese per la mia struttura. Davvero grazie di cuore! Allo stesso tempo però, ci tengo molto a precisare quanto da te evidenziato su un paio di punti; 1. Il B&B si trova nel cuore del quartiere di Materdei che è una zona del CENTRO STORICO di Napoli. Il CENTRO STORICO di Napoli è molto molto grande, non è solo i quartieri Spagnoli, piuttosto che Via Tribunali o Spaccanpoli, ma abbraccia anche e soprattutto il quartiere Materdei dove è ubicato il mio B&B. Ne da prova che, il Museo Archeologico Nazionale dista soli 700 mt dalla mia struttura, la centralissima Via Toledo idem e comunque, avendo la metropolitana linea 1 a 50 metri se proprio si vuole raggiungere il cuore del centro storico piu velocemente e non facendo 15 minuti a piedi con la metro si fa ancora prima! Scusami se mi sono dilungato a spiegare bene questo punto, ma penso che la posizione di una struttura, nell'ambito di una scelta da parte di un potenziale cliente, sia molto importante e quindi ci tenevo a sottolineare e precisare questa cosa. 2. La colazione a mio giudizio, è perfettamente in linea con il concept base di un B&B! Non somministro alcun cibo salato per mia assoluta e precisa scelta. Penso che, come anche da mie personali esperienze, la colazione salata sia più per hotel da 3 stelle a salire. Vedi, tanti anni fà, quando sono nati i primi B&B, il concetto era di ospitare nelle case private le persone, dando loro una camera, un bagno ed al mattino a colazione facendo saggiare qualche torta appena fatta, facendo cosi sentire come a casa l'ospite. Ecco, io credo che questa concezione forse, da parte di alcuni viaggiatori, si stia un tantino perdendo, e qualcuno quasi pretende il cibo salato. Io però, tengo molto a questa tradizione, credimi, mi costerebbe molto meno dare un po di salato piuttosto che le torte fresche ma non lo faccio perchè credo negli antichi valori di come sono nati i B&B. Ecco, anche per questo punto ci tenevo a dire come la penso a riguardo e rispondere alla recensione. Ti mando un abbraccio grande e spero di rivedervi ancora al mio B&B!!! Ciao, Gianni

We were hosted by Gianni at the lovely Bed and Breakfast "Colori e Note". The complex is nice and welcoming, the structure and rooms are themed (as suggested by the name). All very clean. The rooms are spacious and the view over the garden is truly enchanting. Moreover, the owner was very kind and helpful. He recommended the areas to visit, the typical destinations, and also where and what to eat. Truly a host with a capital H! The Bed and Breakfast is highly recommended.

Very beautiful and cozy room, with a window overlooking a very nice garden. Convenient area for getting around by metro or other means. The manager was very kind from the beginning to the end, he also pointed out and recommended places in the city to make the most of our stay. I will gladly return next time I come to Naples!

We stayed 5 days at the B&B and had a great time, clean and central, in a nice neighborhood, next to the metro and very close on foot to the National Museum and the historic center. Gianni and Daniela are very friendly and welcoming. Excellent advice on what to visit. The room is beautiful, overlooking a beautiful garden. What can I say, thank you guys! Daniela and Paola.
