Agricola is a sanctuary of authenticity nestled in the hills of Rio Eremo, where time moves at a more leisurely pace and every detail reflects a profound connection with the land. A terracotta-colored farmhouse stands out against the vibrant greens of the fields, welcoming those in search of an experience rooted in simplicity, flavor, and nature.
Established in the spring of 2015 as a new venture of Terre Giunchi, Agricola is much more than just a farm stay; it embodies home, cuisine, and a shop. On the upper floor, four charming rustic rooms with warm tones provide peaceful slumber and intimate atmospheres. Each room has its own character, inspired by woodland animals, ensuring a stay that blends comfort with a sense of adventure.
The kitchen serves as the vibrant heart of the house. Here, tradition meets creativity in dishes crafted from fresh, organic ingredients sourced from the daily work of Azienda Agricola Terre Giunchi. It's the perfect spot for those who cherish authentic flavors and a sense of community.
Adjacent to the kitchen, Agricola also functions as a shop: a space to purchase local products, discover new ideas, or take part in events surrounded by nature. The experience continues in the Cantineria, which serves as both a wine cellar and an eatery, where guests can taste house wines and beers paired with local recipes.
Amidst the olive trees at sunset, one can experience the magic of a picnic curated by Terre Giunchi: wicker baskets, vintage tablecloths, and the aromas of cuisine from “La Cantineria” beneath a starry sky.
Completing the experience are the Educational Farm, featuring a wood-fired oven, a small museum of rural civilization, an indoor classroom, and a green space with a pond, where both young and old can rediscover the wonders of country life.
Agricola is a place to return to one’s roots, reconnect with oneself, and be enveloped by the tranquility of nature.
