R&B Le Noci di Feo is an ancient farmhouse set in the lush countryside of Modena, perfectly located for those seeking peace while still enjoying convenient access to transportation. We are situated to the north of Modena, on the outskirts of the city, just a few hundred meters from the West ring road: from here, the Modena Nord (A1) and Campogalliano (A22) highway exits are easily accessible, making this establishment ideal for both leisure and business stays.

The history of the house is an integral part of the experience: built in 1912 as a service building for the agricultural lands of landowner Mr. Sacerdoti, it retains the typical layout of that era, featuring a central vaulted porch once used for storing farming tools, along with side areas that housed the farmer's dwelling, stables, and barn. Since 1939, it has been the home of the Garuti family, who have owned it since 1980, and in March 2017, they decided to open the doors of this historic residence, transforming it into a cozy retreat for Emilian hospitality.

Here, hospitality is experienced authentically, steeped in local traditions, a strong connection to the land, and a desire to introduce guests to the excellence of Modena. The rooms, thoughtfully designed and elegantly furnished in a rustic style, are named after typical flowers from the region: Geraniums, Sunflowers, Violets, Tulips, and Hydrangeas. At the heart of the house, on the first floor, a spacious common lounge enhances breakfast and relaxation moments, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.

I wanted to ensure I had the time to write a proper review before posting this. We stayed for three nights in mid-October at Le Noci di Feo and could not have been more pleased with this lovely spot. From the beautiful converted farmhouse to the delicious breakfasts to the curated recommendations and tour arrangements, our stay was simply wonderful! The room was perfect with lovely views over their manicured property and gardens, an oasis just outside the bustle of the city center. We did not have a car, but Paolo arranged taxis when required (we never waited more than a couple of minutes for their arrival), and the bus was nearby, easy to use and frequent. Such a lovely spot, wonderful people, and a delightful stay! Grazie Paolo and family!

Their property is on the outskirts of Modena on their family farm, now a converted b&b. We enjoyed meeting the family spending time with Paolo and Tatiana. We had a wonderful time at Le Noci Di Feo. The property and grounds were very nice, but the host, Paolo, and his wife, were extraordinary. Each morning they were ready with a wide variety of breakfast options, including several choices for local cakes. Paolo provided recommendations for restaurants specializing in the local cuisine and was able to make reservations on our behalf. He also provided recommendations for local excursions, which for us included a visit to a Parmesan cheese manufacturer and a winery specializing in Lambrusco.

Le Noci di Feo is exquisite! What a gem! Paolo and Tiziana have thought of every detail and are the most caring hosts. The entire building is beautiful, clean, and lovingly decorated. Breakfast has every selection you could want, including Tiziana's home baked cakes. We also took a cooking class with Tiziana and Muthu (Paolo and Tiziana's daughter) and it was exceptional! Fun, educational, and Paolo told us so much about the local wine and vinegar and cheese. In fact, Paolo made our trip the best it could be with all his perfect suggestions. We toured local cheese and balsamic vinegar producers and loved every minute. The property is perfectly located close to the city but on a lovely, quiet farm. Our Most Memorable Stay in Italy! Our stay at Le Noci di Feo was the absolute highlight of our trip to Italy. The home, grounds and rooms are unique, beautiful, and meticulously maintained. But, it was Paolo, our host, and his family that made our stay so special. Paolo helped us with recommendations, reservations and even helped us find a medical clinic when our son got sick. The breakfast each morning was delicious and there were many homemade delights from the region made fresh by our hosts. We also enjoyed a cooking class and dinner with Paolo and family which I highly, highly recommend! Enjoying a truly authentic, and incredible meal that we jointly prepared with Paolo and family was an experience and memory that our family will cherish forever. We felt more like family and friends than hotel guests. I cannot recommend Le Noci di Feo enough. I hope we can visit again someday.

One of the nicest B&B hotels we have been to in a long time. A little out of the old town but very easy driving access with lots of public parking options. The host is very helpful. Everything about our stay at Le Noci di Feo was outstanding. Paolo was a most gracious host as well as travel guide. Even before we arrived, he was very accommodating and helped us find restaurants and tours to do during our 2-day stay. He even made reservations for us! We visited a traditional balsamic vinegar house and loved listening to Sandra speak enthusiastically about the history of the vinegar production. We also tasted delicious Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and learned about its production. Thank you Paolo for organizing such authentic experiences for us. The property was beautiful and immaculately kept. The reception area was full of many brochures, maps, and icy cold water...just what tourists need. Our room was impeccably clean and nicely outfitted. The breakfast was superb with Paolo slicing fresh meat and cheese for each individual. There was also fresh baking that his wife Tiziana made and delicious cappuccino. My husband and I also took part in cooking lessons. The entire evening was a delight as we prepared pasta and Tiramisu along with Paolo's family. Then our meal was cooked, and we sat down to enjoy the experience from appetizer to dessert. It truly is one of the highlights of our trip. Le Noci di Feo is a hidden gem, mainly due to Paolo. He is kind, patient, and does everything he can to make each guest's visit perfect. Paolo is proud of his home and city and shares many stories about their history. As much as we enjoyed visiting Modena, we loved meeting Paolo. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Le Noci di Feo is like coming home away from home. Communication with the owner and host Paolo was absolutely wonderful from the start. Paolo arranged two excellent excursions for us before we arrived. The reception was heartwarming and service excellent. Breakfast is better than in any 5 star Italian hotel. Everything is fresh and local with ample choice. Paolo was available for any questions we had. The location is just on the outskirts of Modena, but this provides excellent peace and quiet, with facilities of the city within reach. There is a bus or short taxi ride into town, but even more so, if you have a car to discover the region, parking is super easy and free at the B&B. I highly recommend this place and if we return to this region, we would definitely stay with Paolo again.

Thank you so much to Paolo and his lovely wife for welcoming us in early January. We arrived in the evening and both the house and the garden were like a fairy tale with lovely lightings. Paolo welcomed us with great kindness. Our room was perfect: cosy, clean and quiet. We were offered an amazing breakfast the following morning and we discovered the beautiful garden. Very nice property. The owner, Paulo, is fantastic and attentive to all of our needs. He met us at the front gate and was always ready to assist, even provided all required materials so that I could clean the foggy interior windows of my rental car! Room was wonderful, breakfast was out of this world! I would not hesitate to return on my next trip to this area, even if I had to drive an extra 100 km.

The best place I’ve ever stayed. The host is incredibly kind and accommodating and let us check in early. He was so thoughtful and I’ve never seen such an incredible breakfast spread. Have to drive into downtown Modena but parking is easy and cheap and it’s nearby.

We were even provided with plates, etc. for our al fresco dinner. \n\nThank you so much Paulo... Your home and hospitality were beautiful and we have many good memories to take away. \n\nThe only thing is if you can't easily navigate stairs, this may be a little challenging. The only recommendation would be larger towels, but that's being as critical as I could be. \n\nI would definitely recommend Le Noci Di Feo!

We had a 2-night stay at Le Noci di Feo. Paolo was a fantastic host, very responsive and helpful. He gave us suggestions for restaurants and tours and made bookings for us. Also helped us with transport, even coming to pick us up when we had a problem with the bus. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast delicious with lots of local produce. This is an amazing bed and breakfast if you have the opportunity to stay here. Paolo is one of the kindest and caring hosts we have met and it was a pleasure to get to stay at this property. I HIGHLY recommend booking Le Noci di Feo for any length of stay. The families' 1912 converted barn has many charming and romantic touches throughout. Magical B&B! Paolo is an exceptional host, from delicious breakfasts (don't miss the prosciutto and speck, the Erbazzone, and the parmesan drizzled with his incredible aged balsamic vinegar) to ensuring dinner reservations at the loveliest restaurants in Modena and arranging tours at the local dairy. The standards of cleanliness are exceptional! Superb breakfast! Paolo served amazing traditional aged balsamic vinegar as a compliment to the rich breakfast. Moreover, this lovely place has a strategic spot as it is only 10 minutes away by car from the city center of Modena. The surrounding atmosphere is calm and peaceful. Another positive aspect about its location is the fact that there is a variety of accessible places in the area that could pique your interest. Paolo was more than a host. He provided us with great recommendations for everything we could do in terms of activities or cuisine in Modena and the surroundings. He recommended that we visit Sandra's acetaia "San Matteo" where we sampled a variety of traditional balsamic vinegars. He also provided us with a list of the best restaurants in Modena. Thanks to him, we managed to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the Emilia-Romagna region, which in conclusion is rich in beauty, experiences, flavors, aromas, and people with a warm attitude.

From start to finish, our experience at Le Noci di Feo was absolutely wonderful. Paolo and his family are very welcoming and we were made to feel at home throughout our stay. Despite the current times of pandemic, every step was taken in ensuring guests’ safety and in making the property COVID safe. The room we stayed in was immaculate, modern and perfect for either a short or long stay. Since we were very much interested in the local area and culture, Paolo helped organise guided tours to a local Salumificio, Vineyard of Solbara, Parmigiano Reggiano producer and Acetaia for the making of traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena. We thoroughly enjoyed each tour, not to mention the tasting at the end of each. Overall, our stay was an absolute joy thanks to Paolo and his family, no doubt we’ll be looking for an excuse to return soon!

Beautiful house on the outskirts of Modena, which combines proximity to the city center with the countryside and surrounding nature (just 10/15 minutes by car and really easy road + free parking in front of Novi Park). It is the ideal choice to combine the discovery of the city, including in the evening as access is simple, and the countryside to relax. The owners are absolutely lovely and always ready to help with restaurant reservations or anything else (especially since Paolo is always good with advice and extremely caring). I recommend visiting one of his friends, the owner of a traditional vinegar factory. He shows us a centuries-old work and offers a tasting that allows you to 'taste' some explanations. I particularly appreciated that he does not push for purchases at the end of the visit; everyone is free to leave, empty-handed or full. In short, we enjoyed our stay at Le Noci di Feo so much that we almost regretted leaving for Bologna to finish our Italian tour.

We were, once again, very satisfied. We were warmly welcomed by the host, Mr. Paolo, who kindly explained everything. The property (garden, house, room, breakfast area) is beautiful, spotless, and comfortable. We stayed here with our family, we felt at home, excellent welcome from the owners of the property who left us two bottles of local wine as a gift at the end of the weekend! Cleanliness and order, attention to detail. The breakfast was very abundant, with homemade sweets, mini krapfen, various types of croissants, biscuits, fruit glasses, many types of jams, spreadable chocolates and nutella, cereals and muesli, and other types of snacks! To drink: freshly squeezed juices, any hot drink for breakfast, tea and herbal teas. Bread of all kinds. Really everything taken care of in detail and with the utmost availability and attention from the managers. Beautiful and impeccable structure even externally. Highly recommended! If I were to return to Modena, I would book here again.

Absolutely positive experience. Beautiful structure in a very quiet area a few kilometers from the center of Modena. The center is easily reachable by car. As soon as we arrived at the property, we were immediately greeted by Paolo, the perfect homeowner, ready to provide valuable advice on events and experiences not to be missed. Spacious, clean, and cozy room (despite the cold outside, the room was pleasantly warm). Sweet and savory breakfast with typical local products: very much appreciated indeed. The welcome from Paolo was of a rare kindness and care. Room and bathroom very clean and comfortable. On the outskirts of Modena but just a few minutes' drive from the center is 'Le Noci di Feo', a renovated farmhouse with a beautiful fenced garden. Clean and new rooms with air conditioning and all the necessary amenities. The owners are welcoming, kind, and helpful, the breakfast is plentiful and of good quality, with sweet and savory options. For a weekend a month - for several months now - "Le Noci di Feo" welcomes us, easing the hardships of being away from home. The warmth and availability of the managers, the welcoming environments complete, warm, clean, and comfortable, the generous breakfast rich in fresh local products, and - in general - the atmosphere felt at this establishment, all contribute to make us feel at home. All at a fair price. Something we can only thank Mr. Paolo and his wife for. Thank you very much and see you next weekend.

Perfect for two friends with a small dog who was affectionately welcomed and was able to play in the beautiful garden.\n\nJust a few minutes from the center of Modena but peaceful and quiet.\n\nThe restaurant tips were precious and overall the welcome was five stars.\n\nThe structure is charming and elegant, perfectly in line with the Emilian tradition.

We stayed at Le Noci di Feo for one night, but it was enough to understand the commitment and professionalism that Paolo and his wife put into carrying forward a really excellent philosophy of hospitality and professionalism. Very beautiful structure with spacious and clean room and a well-kept garden. Excellent sweet breakfast, with fresh or salty fruit. The location is just outside Modena but the center can be reached in 5 minutes by car. We will definitely come back willingly.

A friend and I stayed from June 29th to 30th, 2017 for Vasco's concert, a short but very nice stay. Beautiful structure and very well-kept in detail, very clean, very secure, very kind and helpful staff, located in a quiet area but close to the center of Modena and above all very honest prices. I recommend it to everyone!

New structure, beautiful and very well cared for. A praise to Mr. Paolo and his wife, of a unique kindness and availability. We felt almost at home. We rated the location 10, even though it's a bit outside Modena because we, being cyclists and coming from the cycle path, found it very convenient.

Very beautiful structure with a well-kept and welcoming garden, not far from the center of Modena. The rooms are tastefully furnished, equipped with all comforts and very charming: everything is clean and welcoming. The breakfast is delicious and great attention is paid to intolerances or allergies: the owners are very attentive and helpful. Our stay was truly pleasant and I thank Mr. Paolo and his wife again for making us feel practically at home, giving us tips and suggestions to make our short stay in Modena even more beautiful.

Host Paulo made our stay very special. He helped us with everything and was always available: tips for restaurants, places to visit, parking spots. When we came back soaking wet from a walk in Modena, he dried all our clothes, even the shoes. We were also allowed to use everything: the beautiful garden, the fridge in the reception area, the breakfast room to have a salad in the evening. In short, we had 4 wonderful days at Le Noci Di Feo, highly recommended!
