La Casa del Girasole, a newly built villa, welcomes guests to spacious and bright accommodations. On the ground floor, three double rooms with private bathrooms and the option to add an extra bed overlook the villa's porch. A 45-square-meter lounge serves breakfast during the winter months, while in summer, guests can enjoy the terrace. The basement features a cozy quadruple room, equipped with two bathrooms and direct outdoor access through a window/door.

Maurizio made our trip to Rome for the Ryder Cup an absolute joy. The kindness he showed us was wonderful. We visited places, ate and drank where only locals would know. Our host Maurizio was extremely helpful and welcoming. This nice property and the exceptional hospitality made our trip a success. We came from Canada to attend the Ryder Cup. He picked us up at the Monterotondo train station, helped us to acquire a rent car, gave us many great restaurant and trip suggestions. We felt right at home at Casa del Girasole!

Great structure! The host is friendly and helpful! Recommended! I cannot evaluate the breakfast (I give it 7) as I did not have it due to the departure time. However, Maurizio still offered us coffee.

If you are a family looking for a pleasant and quiet area to rest after a day spent in the chaotic center of Rome, Casa del Girasole in Monterotondo is the right place. In addition to the warm welcome from the property, you can count on comfortable, tidy, and above all clean rooms equipped with sanitary facilities. The rooms are furnished with retro-style furniture fully in harmony with the surrounding countryside. The view that can be admired from the terrace or garden of the villa is typical of the hills of the Roman district, and you would not think for a moment that the largest city in Italy and the capital is just a 20-minute drive away. After a lifetime (even though I live in the countryside) in the evening, I saw the fireflies again: my daughters had never seen them before. For a weekend or even a week of vacation, I believe it would be hard to find better.

I stopped for a break and especially to break up the journey. My family and I have always settled for little, but now with the dog we have some need for more space and this place was ideal. Quiet area and very kind and helpful owner.

Immersed in greenery with a wonderful view and plenty of fresh air. The maximum to rest and recharge your batteries. The owner is a person available for all possible needs. On the day of departure, he drove me for a long stretch to take me to the beginning of a trail. Very kind. I slept in a nice room with a comfortable bed. Highly recommend it.

Mi dispiace per la colazione ma non possiamo servire prodotti non confezionati come lei avrebbe desiderato per un fatto igienico Oltre alla colazione continentale composta di fette biscottate burro marmellata cioccolata succhi di frutta frutta fresca e secca( noci mandorle arachidi) yogurt brioche e merendine confezionate ( muffin al cioccolato e semplici crostastine di cioccolata e marmellata treccine etc)c’era anche quella salata cioè prosciutto cotto e crudo formaggio uova sode e toasts che non ha voluto Di più non possiamo fare Grazie comunque Un saluto

Well-organized and well-managed family-run property by Maurizio, a friendly and polite person. Always available for any need. Abundant and pleasant breakfast on a communal table. Offers what you would expect from a typical bed and breakfast. Enchanting view amidst green, peace, and tranquility. Great price. Remote location but convenient to reach many places like Lunghezza, Tivoli, the center of Rome, the center of Monterotondo within half an hour by car. If we were to return, we would definitely choose it again with pleasure.

The location is excellent, the manager is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious. If I have to make a point, just a bit more cleaning, some cobwebs, and checking before the guests' entrance that everything is in place and nothing is missing. For the rest, it's ok, even with the price. We will return.

The structure is clean and well maintained in a quiet and peaceful location, which, however, should be better highlighted. The manager is a great person, kind and polite. However, if I have to make a note, which would have given the highest rating for breakfast, is that he never let us taste the 'famous' croissants from a renowned pastry shop in Monterotondo. B&B to recommend.
