Description Breakfast
B&B La Volpe is located at 300 meters above sea level on the hills of Moneglia, halfway between the Cinque Terre National Park and the renowned Portofino; we are surrounded by nature, but just a few minutes drive from the sea, which can also be reached by the village shuttle or by a walk in the woods. From the house, there is a beautiful sea view that stretches from the Gulf of Moneglia to Corsica and the Tuscan archipelago on clear days. In the morning, a plentiful Italian breakfast is served.

Moneglia has been elected as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Thanks to the quality of its clear sea, its beaches, and the services offered, it has continuously held the prestigious Blue Flag recognition since 1987.

The area is strategic for those who want to visit the famous Cinque Terre or other renowned locations on the Riviera di Levante, thanks to the village's train station or the ferry service that operates during the summer.

The house dates back to 1900 and has been completely renovated in 2023 with the aim of minimizing environmental impact through the use of renewable energies. The bedrooms and living area are located on the first floor and are accessible via an external staircase with independent access. The outdoor space is available to guests, who will find umbrellas, sun loungers, a solar shower, and a sofa. There is also a small vegetable garden and various fruit plants.

Pets are welcome after consultation with the manager.

Breakfast is included and served every morning from 8 am to 10 am. Guests can choose from a variety of jams, honey, yogurt, cereals, croissants, bread, milk, butter, toast, different types of tea, juices, fresh fruit, and espresso or moka coffee. However, at the time of booking, it is possible to request special menus for intolerances or allergies.

The property is located in a very quiet area, not close to the city center but very relaxing, with a view onto the sea. It is exactly as shown in all the pictures. Super clean, outside area available for the guests to enjoy. Breakfast with anything you could ask for, gluten free options, soy milk, soy yogurt, toasts with ham and cheese, fruit, etc. The common space shared by the 2 rooms is very well equipped, kettle to make yourself a tea, biscuits, fruit, water in the fridge, a grill... all you need. The host will do everything to make you feel welcomed. Two important things to note: check-in can be (as stated on the site) only between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. If you do not have a car, you will need to rely on public transportation to reach the town of Moneglia (bus stop pretty close to the property), unless you are a hiker and happy to walk! Highly recommended!

"B&B La Volpe" is a real paradise with wonderful hosts. The view is amazing. The rooms are modernly furnished and tastefully decorated. Roberto and Jonathan welcomed us very well, the room was very clean and carefully decorated, a bathroom with all the necessary hygiene items, and very good bedding. We also note that the breakfasts were very plentiful and our hosts were very attentive. They also gave us several tips for visiting the nearby towns, especially the Cinque Terre (bus, train, must-see places, restaurants, beach...). Roberto and Jonathan are very present and are there to answer any questions. We recommend this establishment which has been a favorite for us, just 10 minutes from the beach, Moneglia is a very beautiful town with friendly people.

The rooms are immaculate and very clean, with excellent bedding. A car is necessary to get there, but the location offers peace and great rest. The breakfast is generous. Roberto was a great help during our stay, thank you to him for his kindness and availability. I highly recommend it!

My partner and I booked two nights with Roberto and Jonathan. The quality and cleanliness of the rooms and the entire property were in top condition. We felt extremely comfortable from the welcome by Roberto to the check-out. It was a great experience to have such a good host. Everything felt very homey, cozy, and clean. The communication was excellent and flexible. Roberto gave us perfect recommendations for day trips and great restaurant suggestions nearby. The fantastic location of the property provides a great place to relax and let the gaze wander far away. The included breakfast left nothing to be desired and Roberto provided us with everything one could wish for. Together with the other guests, we had a great time. We thank Roberto for his hospitality and hope to be able to come back someday. We highly recommend the accommodation and the hosts!

We stayed one night for my birthday. The B&B is located in a truly spectacular position and, especially at this time of year, offers a breathtaking view with beautiful colors. The room was very clean and fragrant and, not trivially, the bed also had a topper on the mattress, which is usually found only in hotels of a certain standard. The host was very kind and affable and prepared a perfect breakfast for us, better than many found in hotels.

Roberto and Jonathan welcomed us with professionalism, kindness and above all with a smile. Their property is brand new and is in a panoramic location with a sea view, stunning! The rooms are immaculate but above all the cleanliness is impeccable. I have rarely encountered this level of cleanliness in a 4-star hotel. Roberto shows exceptional care and attention. The little touches are the room slippers and the very comfortable cotton wipe for removing makeup, which are offered to all guests. The breakfast, besides being delicious, is also plentiful. With my husband and our little dog, we spent five nights in this beautiful B&B. We found everything we were looking for and even more. Impeccable cleanliness, a spectacular view, excellent breakfast, great location both to reach the beautiful sea of Moneglia and to visit the area. I thank Roberto for his spontaneous and genuine hospitality; it was a pleasure to spend time together. To top it all off, the sweet Nina and Filippo, two adorable little dogs. Mi spiace che tu non abbia potuto fare la tua colazione alla “svizzera” con le uova ma nei b&b non si può cucinare come da legge italiana. Un abbraccio da Moneglia!

Excellent structure a few kilometers from the village of Moneglia, impeccably managed by Roberto. Only two rooms and a breakfast area, all finely decorated and cared for in detail. Silence and tranquility, cleanliness and courtesy are worth five stars. Having parking is no small thing in these areas. I highly recommend it.

I stayed at the facility for a weekend, but I had already stayed several times last season. The cleanliness and quality of the room and private bathroom are better than in some hotels. The breakfast is excellent, especially considering that it is a family-run B&B. The location is quiet and super panoramic, even though it is on a hill the navigator allows you to reach the destination without any problems.

Last weekend we stayed at B&B La Volpe, in Moneglia. It was a wonderful experience because, despite the terrible weather, we spent two magical days. From the welcome to the departure. The structure is located in a dream place: a 180° view of the hilly and marine landscape, so much greenery around perfect for walks and hikes. Convenient location to reach the main points of interest (the sea, Genoa, the Cinque Terre, etc.). The rooms are welcoming, very spacious and really clean! The owners are nice, kind and willing to meet various needs. Roberto served us an excellent breakfast, made with exceptional local products (top focaccia!) and always with a smile. Everything was really beautiful, we will come back soon!

Thanks to Roberto and Jonathan for their friendly hospitality that allowed us to spend some peaceful days in their B&B. Typical Ligurian house, immersed in greenery and with a splendid sea view, recently renovated with taste and simplicity. Roberto, very kind and attentive to the smallest details, prepares a rich breakfast. The only regret, due to the weather, is not being able to have breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Gulf of Moneglia. Highly recommended.

We stayed one night in this B&B in the hills of Moneglia. Very beautiful location, the B&B is well taken care of down to the smallest details, the breakfast is outstanding and the owners are very friendly and available. The Ligurian roads are obviously very narrow and steep, one must always pay attention because it is not easy to pass by the cars traveling in the opposite direction. Everything else is truly beautiful, you can enjoy a breathtaking view! I also recommend it to those who want to visit the Cinque Terre, from Moneglia you can take the train and in half an hour you will already arrive in Monterosso, so it is excellent. It is also a great place for trekking lovers, there are several walks on the promontory overlooking the sea. We will definitely return.

Very beautiful structure on the hill of Moneglia. Quiet, peaceful, very well renovated and equipped with taste and attention to detail. We stayed at this facility for ten days and we had a great time! The structure is surrounded by greenery but very close to all the main connecting roads! Brand new property in the first inland of Moneglia. Bright rooms, furnished with extreme taste, very comfortable bed, well-equipped common area, everything you need to prepare a coffee, a tea, an herbal tea and a fridge that Roberto never fails to fill with water, fruit juices and yogurt. Nuovissimo B&B gestito da Roberto che con grande simpatia e cordialità ci ha fatto trascorrere un paio di giorni in totale relax e comfort. Adatto a coppie, la stanza è pulitissima e dotata di ogni comfort. La colazione è abbondante e servita direttamente dal padrone di casa. Brand new and carefully curated structure in every detail with love and passion! Roberto is an incredible host and the welcome and stay throughout the stay were fantastic. The breakfast excellent with fresh sweet and savory; the toast was really great. The location is optimal for those looking for a quiet and relaxing area to enjoy sunsets over the sea. Not to be underestimated the parking and excellent possibility of agreements with the parking lots in the center of Moneglia. It was a super weekend, appreciated by everyone including our little dog! We will definitely be back, we have an outstanding cappuccino with focaccia!
