Description Breakfast
The "Dalla Zia" B&B is located in the historic district of San Tomaso, just 1 km from the main road and the Valtellina bike path, in a house dating back to the early 20th century. The establishment boasts stunning views of the valley and is known for its warm and family-like hospitality, featuring three double rooms and a spacious garden where guests can unwind and, if they wish, engage in gardening activities.

Each morning, a plentiful breakfast is served with authentic products and, as the "aunt" likes to say, with a few surprises that will make the moment even more special. Next to the house, there is a garage that accommodates two cars, along with space for motorcycles and bicycles, while an additional car can be parked outside.

For wine enthusiasts and fans of local flavors, the B&B organizes visits to wineries for tastings of wines and cheeses, allowing guests to explore the culinary treasures of the area.

The rooms, each named after a flower visible from the windows, are thoughtfully decorated with attention to detail. On the ground floor, next to the breakfast room, is the "Wisteria Room," which features two beds and a bathroom, offering a beautiful southern view. On the first floor, there are two double rooms: "Hibiscus," with a romantic iron bed, and "Hydrangea," which is spacious and can accommodate an additional bed. Each room has its own private bathroom.

To ensure maximum comfort, the B&B utilizes the "Defender FilterQueen" air purification system, guaranteeing a healthy environment free from impurities.

The host is very accommodating and friendly. Everything is very relaxed and easy. There is a beautiful view of the mountains from the room. The breakfast is with homemade marmalade and local cheese. Only stain: The breed could be more fresh. But all in all a very recommendable B&B.

I stayed overnight twice with my two children. We were welcomed and served very warmly. We were able to fully enjoy the stay, both because of the ideal location for excursions in the surroundings and the pleasant atmosphere in the house.

The stay was excellent from every point of view, aside from a small detail: the bathroom was really small, even though it was exclusive and not in the room, and to reach it, you had to pass in front of the breakfast room. A small downside that did not affect my overall judgment. I consider the experience positive. I would definitely return, hoping to be able to get the room with the bathroom.

B&B in a convenient location near the city of Sondrio. Spacious and welcoming room. We had the bathroom outside the room, spacious and clean. Excellent breakfast with delicious local products. The owner was very kind and helpful, as was Maja who, together with her aunt, welcomed us and gave us useful advice on places to explore nearby. We will definitely return and very gladly!

Overnight stay to visit relatives in Sondrio. We were looking for a simple and economical solution. Excellent welcome, clean and warm room, great breakfast hours. Bathroom outside the room and close to the breakfast area (at the expense of privacy). I would have preferred a real bathroom in the room for hygiene and privacy reasons. The breakfast should be improved by setting up a common buffet (it happened to us on the last day that some food items were for exclusive use and on the table of other guests) for hygiene and availability reasons. Maja and Miria (who manage the B&B dalla Zia) are always available and friendly, as if we had always known them. We will return. Fantastic location with an exceptional view. The bed is very comfortable.

It was a beautiful stay, a welcoming environment and atmosphere, and "Aunt Maira" was friendly and attentive to making us feel truly at home. The breakfast is excellent with many local products and homemade jams, a real delight with a bit of jazz in the background.

If you are looking for a 5-star location, you are in the wrong place, but if you are looking for a service, a welcome, and a care for your needs at a 5-star level, this is the perfect place. You will feel at home, Miria truly treats you like an aunt, and Maia is absolutely fantastic! I have been there twice during a biking vacation along the Valtellina and neighboring trails, and truly the place is perfect.

We stayed during the New Year's period at B&B Dalla Zia, myself, my three-year-old son, and my parents. We stayed in a unique room with a shared bathroom. We were very satisfied with the structure and the welcome we received from the first moment. Miriam and Maya were simply fantastic and always very helpful. They recommended where and what to eat, places to visit, and we were always involved in the village events (the mulled wine and sweets evening, the New Year's concert in the Basilica). Always very hospitable and helpful. At breakfast, don't miss out on the delicious homemade jams. A delight. From the structure, it is possible to reach Aprica, for ski lovers, in about 30/40 minutes. I recommend visiting Morbegno, very welcoming and atmospheric. Another must-see during the Christmas period is the visit to the Grand Nativity Scene of Val Tartano. Certainly not easy to reach due to the hairpin bends and narrow mountain roads. Once you arrive, it's best to continue on foot when you reach the little village, the show is guaranteed. Another pleasant little village is Teglio (about half an hour) with a playground for children, an ice rink, and a visit to the tower (with Santa Claus but only on certain days of the year).

Excellent! I had a great time: cleanliness, breakfast, availability, everything at the top. One of the many strengths of the B&B is the friendliness of the "girls" who manage it, being locals, they can give excellent advice on places to visit, roads and paths to take; a special mention to Miria: a person interested and full of resources. Highly recommended.

We stayed in a very spacious room. Shared bathroom. Garage available for two cars. Two km from the Sp. 40 Sondrio Tirano. I recommend reaching Chiuro and taking the scenic road to Teglio. The two managers are very kind and helpful. Varied and abundant breakfast. Stop for only one day but also recommended for longer periods.

Privacy but friendly availability from the lady who welcomed us combined with a pleasant house cared for in detail, but with its own personality of a home with a long story to tell, cleanliness, and the unobtrusive presence of everything necessary for a comfortable stay made the short stay at the B&B "Dalla zia" in Tresivio very enjoyable.

Excellent structure a few kilometers from Sondrio and fifteen from Tirano, starting point for the red train. Maja is an exceptional hostess, a lover of cycling and passionate about hospitality. Our room was spacious, clean, and very quiet. Excellent view of the underlying valley and breakfast with local products. I will definitely return.
