La Casa sul Colle

In the historic center of the village surrounded by mountains near a medieval castle, an ideal place for visits and for athletes like cycling, hiking, and trail running. We had a dream stay, our hostess welcomed us very well, present only if we needed her. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast 👍👍👍👍.

We had a great stay! The owner is kind and always helpful. The apartment, clean and welcoming, is maintained down to the smallest details and conveys a homely atmosphere. It is located in a panoramic position, with easy parking and a short walk from the historic center. In our opinion: highly recommended!

Welcomed by the kindness and exquisite hospitality of Mrs. Fiorentina, we spent quiet and relaxing days in the cozy and comfortable environment of "The house on the hill."

A pleasant vacation at "La Casa sul Colle" in Venafro, next to Castello Pandone, in the middle of the historical park of the century-old olive trees planted by Cato the Elder, facing the airy panorama of the wide valley below. We were able to visit many places of extraordinary interest, such as Venafro itself, Montecassino, Capua, Rocca d'Evandro, and Mignano Montelungo, with their castles that belonged to Ettore Fieramosca, the fertile valleys of Garigliano and Volturno, the most pleasant lands of Campania Felix, as mentioned by Pliny, the agronomists of antiquity, and many poets of the Roman era. Immensely grateful for the welcome, availability, rare kindness, and courtesy of Mrs. Fiorentina. Hospitality is an important value because it expresses respect for the person and the desire for knowledge: we felt like family! We hope to return soon.

Large house in an optimal location in the historic center of Venafro, equipped with all comforts. Impeccable cleanliness, I highly recommend it.
