The B&B "Alloggio della Posta Vecchia" is located in an 18th-century noble palace, featuring rooms decorated with antique furnishings and overlooking beautiful views of the historic center. The historically significant rooms, adorned with Sicilian ceramic floors and 19th-century frescoes, boast panoramic sea views, while the budget-friendly rooms, smaller yet cozy, provide excellent value with a view of a corner of the historic center. Both room types are equipped with LED TVs, air conditioning/heating, and private bathrooms. Its central location makes it easy to visit historic landmarks such as the Cathedral and the Monastery of Santo Spirito, with the Valley of the Temples just 4 km away. The establishment offers free Wi-Fi and is situated in a quiet area, with restaurants and shops nearby.

We always offer packaged and artisanal cookies, coffee, tea to be prepared on your own and be able to consume in the small room equipped with tables, chairs, coffee maker, kettle and everything you need You will then have the opportunity, if you feel like it, to try the local specialties in one of the 10 bars that are located on the Via Atenea, a few steps from the B&B (consumptions at the bar not charged to the B&B)

Great value and location. The host let us in remotely so there was no in-person greeting but she was very helpful.

Ci teniamo a precisare che il nostro orario di checkin è dalle 16 alle 19 e 30 ma se i nostri ospiti anticipano o posticipano questi orari e il personale non è in struttura per noi nn ce nessun problema a soddisfare tutte le esigenze attraverso i dispositivi di nuova generazione aprendo proprio come specificato da voi sulla recensione garandendo appunto un'accoglienza super veloce sensa lunghe attese alla porta in attesa del personale in modo che l'ospite possa rilassarsi subito all'arrivo nella propria camera per poi incontrarsi successivamente. Grazie per aver scelto Alloggio della posta vecchia, è stato un piacere per noi.

We were asked when we would arrive and we said between 17:30 and 18:00. We arrived at 17:57. The host did not respond to the ring doorbell nor the WhatsApp text nor the cell phone. We got lucky because another guest managed to make contact with the landline phone number, which I was unable to contact. A neighboring property owner came and checked us in for payment and services description. If that other guest had not arrived when they did I do not known what we would have done. We were very disappointed that the host could not be contacted to check us in.

Siamo contenti che abbiate comunque trascorso un soggiorno piacevole ad Agrigento. La persona con cui eravate rimasti in contatto quel giorno ha avuto un malessere per fortuna non grave e nel momento in cui siete arrivati alla porta non era in grado di rispondere al telefono. Ci siamo subito riorganizzati e un'altra persona ha pensato al vostro check-in in tempi brevissimi per consentirvi di continuare la vostra vacanza senza intoppi. La vostra vacanza è importante ma occorre anche avere un minimo di comprensione per il prossimo. Grazie per aver scelto di soggiornare da noi

Maria Rita was very helpful. Though we arrived early, she sent us helpful directions, met us, showed us the room, and was very friendly. It was in an old building in the center, renovated beautifully, and very clean and bright. We had a very pleasant stay.

The location was great and communication with the host was very good. The room we stayed in needed some TLC and refreshing - loose floor tiles is one example. Otherwise a good location for one night after spending the day at the valley of the temples.

I was satisfied with everything. Quiet location but in the city center and close to all attractions. Excellent value for money. The lady who runs it is very kind and helpful. I will definitely return.

In my opinion, the bathroom needs to be modernized because it is really ugly. The towel rack is completely rusty and is unsightly. Overall, everything is fine.

Ci tengo a precisare che è una struttura arredata sullo stile ottocentesco con maioliche di prestiggio affreschi arredato nello stile di quel tempo. Come indicato la colazione non e' compresa nel prezzo ma da buona siciliana offro sempre un caffè la mattina o del the' accompagnato da biscottini tipici locali ovvimente offerto dalla casa poi a pochi passi dal b&b ci sono tanti bar tipici dove volendo potete scegliere di provare numerosi prodotti artigianali tipici del luogo

The structure is elegant and historic, but the price is above average, also considering the lack of breakfast, not even the voucher for the bar is provided. Furthermore, it is inconvenient as it is located in the historic center and does not have parking.

Grazie per aver scelto la nostra struttura. Accettiamo sempre le critiche purchè siano costruttive e utili per migliorare la qualità del nostro servizio. Come indicato sul suo voucher di prenotazione la colazione non era inclusa nel prezzo e non era indicato nessun tiket per una colazione al bar ma all'interno della struttura è riposta un'aria caffè nella sala comune dove ho riposto una macchina per il caffè espresso lavazza il bollitore per la preparazione di un the classico verde e tisane vario gusto biscotti e mini cornetti dispenser con acqua potabile fresca o temperatura ambiente imbottigliata il tutto a disposizione degli ospiti gratuitamente da utilizzare come un primo approccio mattutino al risveglio se gradito. La struttura è posizionata nel.cuore della via principale di Agrigento , la Via Atenea è la zona della passeggiata ricca di bar caffetterie , ristoranti, negozi tipici del loco e anche negozi di alta moda è una zona a traffico limitato percui non è possibile parcheggiare li, il parcheggio si trova all'ingresso di questa via circa 400 metri in pianura dalla struttura , inolte ci tengo a precisare che siamo in possesso di pas specifici che all'occorenza se viene richiesto dall'ospite forniamo per attraversare questa via per il carico e scarico bagagli o per altre esigenze particolari per avvicinarsi quanto più possibile alla struttura per favorire l'arrivo e successivamente parcheggiare l'auto al punto indicato per garantire a chi passeggia per la via principale un ambiente tranquillo sereno e protetto .
