We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Catalè, originally 3 nights but so great that we extended to a 4th night. Firstly, what wonderful, kind and helpful hosts Alessandro and Caterina are - the B&B is clearly a labour of love and they really care about your comfort and wellbeing and really go over and above to achieve this. It is so lovely to feel looked after in a new place. The property is really charming and well designed. It is in a great central position - we loved going out and exploring Modica and the surrounding area. It is a fantastic base for this - we visited Noto and Siracusa which we enjoyed but agreed that we were happy to have chosen Modica as a base. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance, and there is even a little tourist train you can take to see Modica Alta. We went to the closest beach on one of the days, it was lovely fine sand and a quiet beach. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. We really enjoyed conversing with fellow travellers in the dining room, great to exchange information about your travels. In short, we highly recommend Casa Catalè to explore this beautiful part of Sicily.

B&B very beautiful and particular, cared for in detail, full of books and vintage objects. Located 5 minutes on foot from Corso Umberto. If I have to find a flaw, it is the price of breakfast, which I think is excessive, in fact we opted for breakfast at the bar. For the rest, everything was perfect, the owners were very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

Unforgettable stay at Casa Catalè for our group of cyclist friends! The ancient stone building is located in the city center, just steps away from the most beautiful churches, the best ice cream in Modica, and the most famous chocolate factory in Sicily. The house is very bright, with spacious common areas and comfortable, welcoming, and spotlessly clean rooms. We greatly appreciated the comfort of the beds and the very well-kept decor of each room (each with a private bathroom). Breakfast is prepared by the owner, who favors very fresh local products (sweet and savory!). We followed all the advice of Caterina and Alessandro and were able to enjoy the best of the area. Unbeatable value for money! We hope to return soon to this corner of peace and hospitality.
