Our breakfast is served from March to November on the lovely internal terrace of the house. It features fresh products, always including seasonal fruit purchased in the morning from Jerry, the greengrocer just around the corner. The fresh bread is also picked up every morning from the bakery nearby. The jams are made by Maria, our housekeeper, using seasonal fresh fruit. The yogurt is not homemade but bought. This forms the basis of the meal, and there may also be croissants or brioche, as well as traditional Sicilian cookies (such as tagliancozzi, cookies with "giuggiulena," and "te-tu"). If it's the right season, we serve fresh orange juice, along with coffee made in a moka pot (as we do not have coffee machines), tea, and herbal infusions.
