Norman was a wonderful host. Very responsive to everything we needed and willing to explain bus/trains when we asked. The apartment was clean and functional. The location is very central, but it is also located in an area that is a little dirtier on the streets.

Salve e grazie per la vostra recensione. Solo una precisazione. Sulla struttura esterna ho poco da fare, la stessa sicuramente nn incide sulla vacanza. La struttura interna come scritto da altri ospiti è da Top b&b e ne sono fiero. La posizione è strategica in pieno centro storico, in una piazza sicura, illuminatissima con tantissimi parcheggi. Da poco adesso anche, con un nuovissimo parcheggio multipiano. Quindi zona strategica e comoda per i turisti. Detto ciò ritengo, come scritto da altri ospiti che la posizione e da 10. Collin & Sue Brien, who manages the property, were kind enough to collect us at very short notice and take us to the apartment. It’s in a part of town where ordinary Sicilians live so you feel like part of the community. The apartment is up 8 flights of stairs, so those who can't climb stairs or may not want to carry their luggage might want to think again. But it is worth the climb! It is spacious and well furnished with a really cute kitchen area where we cooked. There is a comfortable living area with dining table, chairs & a sofa. The bedroom is large and there is a decent bathroom & hallway. Collin and Sue Brien could not have been more welcoming. They were very helpful and displayed excellent Sicilian hospitality. They supplied us with complimentary fruit & water & tips on the local sights and were at the end of the phone when we needed to ask questions. We spoke very little Italian, Maria Rosa spoke a little English, but with the help of google translate we got along just fine. Parking is free outside the building but there is a man who looks after the cars and he expects to receive a tip. We really enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it.

It is the first time we come to Sicily, my wife and I live in Washington and we do not speak Italian, and in Palermo we were really very well received, the two owners were very helpful and understanding for our needs. They gave us many directions and advice on how to visit the city. Excellent breakfast in a bar near the B&B, very cozy and nice apartment, easy to reach. It was a great experience, bye and see you next time.

We were able to secure a very affordable and super centrally located accommodation with Maurizio's apartment. The entire old town is within walking distance. The main train station is nearby and there are several buses in the immediate vicinity. The apartment has a very comfortable bed, a large, clean bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen including a seating area and a sofa. Maurizio is an excellent host and always has a good restaurant tip ready. The price-performance ratio here is unbeatable. We felt at home during our two weeks here. If I were to complain at a high level, I would only criticize that there is no nice view. But that was never promised either. I highly recommend the small apartment.

We stayed in the "Jasmine" apartment for 2 nights. We really appreciated the possibility of parking in the inner courtyard, the silence, despite being located in a busy area. The mattress was great and the bathroom spacious. Highly recommended!

I stayed three nights with my wife in this structure and we really had a great time! The apartment is very close to the historic center of Palermo (to give you an idea, it is no more than ten minutes on foot from the Palazzo dei Normanni and the Cathedral). It has been recently renovated and is furnished with great taste. There is also the possibility to use the parking for an additional charge of ten euros per day. Maurizio, the owner, proved to be very kind and helpful. I recommend it to everyone who wants to spend a holiday visiting the major artistic attractions that this beautiful city offers, without having to use any means of transport (the bus stop is still very close).

I stayed at Norman House for 8 days in May 2024. Mr. Maurizio immediately made us feel comfortable with his friendliness and maximum availability whenever we requested it. He pointed out the most important historical and cultural places to visit and the places where you can taste Sicilian specialties, particularly from Palermo. Located a short distance from the historic center, the train station, Ballarò market, and Palermo Cathedral, the property is tastefully furnished with new furniture, clean, and welcoming. An unforgettable experience both for the places visited and for the hospitality provided by the city, especially by the aforementioned owner. A non-trivial consideration, given the parking problem in large cities, is the availability of parking in the courtyard facing the b&b entrance. Highly recommended to everyone, I hope to return next year for the holidays and stay here again.

The Jasmine room is actually a real little apartment, very intimate, quiet, and equipped with all comforts. It is located near the Ballarò market, nearby there are several bus and metro stops, bars, bakeries, and delis to eat and also a shop to do some shopping. A stone's throw away is the Norman Palace and you can also reach it on foot in no time. Maurizio is very kind and very helpful. I arrived late in the evening and he even offered to pick me up at the station, then he showed me around and recommended what to see in Palermo and especially where to eat! Highly recommended structure.

Large, spacious, and comfortable: the Jasmine room is presented like this 50%, and Mr. Maurizio does the rest of the house. On the edge of the ZTL and with free parking right outside, Norman House is a five-minute walk from the Palazzo dei Normanni and the Cathedral. Maurizio was extremely kind and super helpful at all times. He even offered us breakfast on the last day! A truly pleasant person. The house was also really beautiful and very convenient for tourists. In fact, it's just a stone's throw from the center but at the same time you won't hear the noise of traffic or people. Moreover, there is always parking available, as there is a parking lot under the house. I am really happy about the experience I had and for having met such a kind and hospitable person. Upon arrival, we had a misunderstanding due to the malfunction of my smartphone's internet, which was overcome by Maurizio's availability, the owner of the property, to make us feel comfortable and make the most of our stay in Palermo. Maurizio provided us with all the necessary directions and advice. It's a shame that our reservation was only for two days. We would have gladly stayed a few more days. Hello everyone, every 20 days, for months now, I come here to this welcoming establishment. I have visited others before, but I must say that this is the best, both because it's spacious and you have a whole apartment at your disposal that you don't have to share with other people, and then you find everything you need, always clean. Congratulations for the skills that are not often found in these environments. I highly recommend it.

I have been a guest at Norman House twice, I have always felt very good. Inside, nothing is missing, everything is clean and well taken care of in every detail, and I would like to point out the availability of those who manage it at any time of the day and night, for my needs I found a 2 family. I highly recommend it because there is really nothing missing. Congratulations!

I stayed at this property a few months ago for discontinuous periods, unfortunately not for vacation but due to needs related to stays at the nearby Civic Hospital. I apologize for writing only now, but it has been a difficult time. That's why I feel with my heart to thank Maurizio and Patrizia, the managers and owners who made me feel at home despite the difficult moment. Kind and caring, they provided us with a real apartment equipped with everything that could serve me and my family, my home in every way. I intend to return with my husband and children, but this time for a peaceful and lovely vacation and to visit all those wonderful places praised and indicated by Maurizio, a true enthusiast of his work. Property recommended 1000 times. See you soon.

Very nice, cozy and well-furnished apartment. Kitchen and bathroom provided with everything, clean and fully equipped, suitable for a couple or even a group. The lady who welcomed us was very kind, available immediately by phone. Highly recommended.

After so much time, I returned to visit the wonderful Palermo. I found Norman House excellent for those like me who had to move on foot. It enjoys a great location, it is right in the center and a stone's throw from the central train station, very useful for reaching Cefalù and other places. Within a few minutes' walk, you can reach Palazzo dei Normanni and the Cathedral. The house is very cozy and quiet. Furnished with taste and especially with new furniture. The gentlemen who welcomed me were very kind and provided me with excellent advice, especially on where to eat. Everything is close to the structure, shops, fruit markets, supermarkets, bars, etc. I will gladly return!

Dopo ben 21 anni (trasferita a Conegliano per lavoro) sono ritornata nella mia Palermo..un impatto estremamente forte ed emozionante. Consigliata da un'amica, ho alloggiato con mio marito e 2 bambini (che non conoscevano la mia città natale) in questa struttura, posizione ottima in pieno centro storico a pochi passi dalla maggior parte delle meraviglie Palermitane da visitare. Appartamentino molto carino, arredato con gusto e fantasia, curato nei minimi particolari, dotato di tutto ciò che tu puoi trovare a casa tua (perfino un cesto di frutta fresca di stagione per improvvisi languorini!) ci siamo sentiti a casa nostra sul serio, e Patrizia e Maurizio sono stati molto cortesi e disponibili nell'accoglierci. Venendo da una quotidianità del "nord" all'inizio ero un po' spiazzata ma poi i due gestori ci hanno consigliato al meglio ed indirizzato nei posti giusti, solarità e cordialità.. d'altronde a Palermo si trova molta gente accogliente e calorosa. Sicuramente torneremo a Palermo e già sappiamo dove alloggiare, senza ombra di dubbio da consigliare.
