Located in the heart of Modica's historic center, next to the convent of the same name and the Municipio square, San Domenico CasaVacanze is the result of a project aimed at preserving a "place of the heart." Situated on the second floor of a late 19th-century building, the establishment welcomes guests into an environment that is both charming and comfortable.
There are four double rooms, three of which include an additional bed, providing cozy spaces equipped with private bathrooms, independent air conditioning, television, and Wi-Fi access. What makes these rooms unique are the restored antique wooden shutters, creatively transformed into original decorations by the local artist Ilde Barone. Each room is adorned with paintings depicting the typical flowers of the region, such as capers, oranges, almond trees, and hibiscus, and is named after one of the four sisters: Iolanda, Vera, Maria, and Teresa.
The property also features a communal dining area with a kitchenette and a spacious internal terrace furnished with umbrellas, tables, and chairs, perfect for relaxation or sharing convivial moments. San Domenico CasaVacanze thus provides a warm and inviting atmosphere, ideal for fully experiencing the charm of baroque Modica.
a small 'sweet' welcome gift for our guests who will also find everything they need for espresso, tea, cappuccino; single-serving biscuits and jams, packaged brioches, fruit juices.
