Just a short walk from the historic Porta di Sant’Agata, the entrance to the medieval village of Monticchiello, Guido and Simonetta's B&B welcomes you in an ancient farmhouse dating back to the late 16th century. This beautifully restored property is nestled in the heart of Valdorcia. With a prime location at the foot of the village, the establishment offers breathtaking views of the towers, the city walls, and the stunning landscape that stretches all the way to Monte Amiata.

The B&B features three well-appointed rooms and two annexes, all thoughtfully decorated and equipped with essential comforts for a relaxing stay, including Wi-Fi, a refrigerator, and a fully equipped kitchen. The breakfast room, complete with an open kitchen and an elegant marble table, provides a cozy atmosphere where you can enjoy delicious homemade treats prepared according to the most authentic Tuscan traditions each morning. Guests can also unwind in the garden, which offers a perfect spot to admire the panorama of Valdorcia and the enchanting surrounding villages.

Guido and Simonetta are happy to recommend local specialties such as olive oil, cheese, and wines, and to suggest the best local restaurants to experience the true flavors of Tuscany. The breakfast included in the price during the autumn and winter is served in our lounge while during the spring and summer in our garden table. Breakfast includes Cakes and homemade biscuits Jams Honey and Yogurt Scrambled Eggs and Bacon juices Coffee tea and cappuccino The desserts offered are prepared by Maria Simonetta and all local produce. On request with a little extra on the price we can also offer breakfast traditional Tuscany: Cold Cuts Pecorino Cheese bruschetta Fried egg

This was an amazing stay, it was so charming and in a great location. Guido and his aunt are amazing hosts. We had dinner reservations in town and he made sure to send over a drink while we were there, it was so kind and just next level service. His aunt cooks a delicious breakfast and helped make the morning enjoyable.

A superb and enjoyable experience, a wonderful stay. Guido was so nice and welcoming. Everything was great. The room was clean, bed super comfy. Breakfast was excellent. Whole place is very nice. Exceptional.

We had a great stay, despite mediocre weather. Monticchiello is a charming little village, ideally located to visit the Val d'Orcia (including the nearby Pienza). The room was very pleasant and well decorated. Guido and his aunt were very attentive and welcomed us wonderfully.

Beautiful structure with a view directly on the countryside. Clean, spacious and well-organized room. Guido and his aunt welcomed us very well showing themselves immediately available. Top! Guido and Maria Gabriella are very friendly and welcoming! The accommodation is nice in the center of the village, the view over the fields of Tuscany is very beautiful. The breakfast is delicious with homemade sweets, Tuscan hams and cheeses. The owners are very helpful for anything (advice on what to visit around, restaurants...). We had a great time, highly recommended.

The structure is wonderful, well-kept in every area, even in the common spaces. Our room was splendid and spacious. Impeccable cleanliness and great attention to detail. Very well-kept garden with a splendid view over the valley and Pienza. The managers, very kind and with a great knowledge of the area, gave us very useful advice on what to visit in the surroundings.

With guilty delay, I write this review but still with the magical place that hosted us for a weekend in my eyes and heart. Affittacamere Maria Gabriella is a magical place, immersed in nature (the sunset over the valley was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen) and a few km from all the beauty to see in Val D'Orcia; Guido and Simonetta are two perfect hosts, present with excellent advice and never intrusive. We hope to come back to enjoy even more the beautiful garden of the b&b, thank you very much for this wonderful holiday.

Top structure, very well-kept, impeccable cleanliness, stunning panoramic view. We were greeted with a smile by the owner Guido, a very kind and attentive young man, he was always ready to help with anything we needed, and then the excellent abundant breakfasts with homemade cakes by the aunt, truly delicious. Impossible to find negative aspects. Highly recommended, we can't wait to go back.

Great bed and breakfast run by aunt and nephew and after a while they become your aunt and cousin. Strategic point to visit the Val d'Orcia, to admire beautiful sunsets over Pienza and have several restaurants 150 meters away from the property which, with all the wines circulating in Val d'Orcia, is not trivial. Very satisfied.

Beautiful property and excellent location, with a garden from which you can enjoy a spectacular sunset overlooking Pienza. The town is a bit far away, but the village of Monticchiello is a gem worth visiting. Friendly and pleasant hosts, always available to provide information on events and restaurants in the area. Definitely recommended.

Structure in an enviable position, with an attached garden, from which you can admire the sunset over the hills of Val d'Orcia and is just a few meters from the fantastic historic center of the village of Monticchiello. Having a relaxing outdoor breakfast is a real pleasure. Guido and his mother are caring hosts of the structure and know how to make guests have a pleasant stay.

The structure is very beautiful in a strategic position to visit the Val d'Orcia. My husband and I stayed at the 'La Lanciotta' annex located within the walls of the village and 150 meters from the main house where we had breakfast. We welcomed enthusiastically both the location of the annex, which is in a very quiet area and convenient for various needs, and the attention to detail in the furnishings. Guido and Aunt Simonetta are wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and very helpful people. We hope to return soon and stay again at 'La Lanciotta'.

I was looking for a place to stay near Bagno Vignoni. I couldn't find anything better! The B&B Maria Gabriella is an enchanted place. A splendid stone farmhouse with a beautiful and flowery garden from which you can enjoy the view of the nearby Pienza. A strategic point to explore the surroundings rich in history, spas, and wonderful views. The rooms are clean and welcoming, as well as the hosts Guido and Aunt Simonetta who prepare excellent pastries for breakfast. Everything is perfect. My new reference point in Tuscany. Francesca.
