Despite the fantastic reviews already received for this stay & Francesco, our stay has far exceeded our expectations. Francesco is the most accommodating and wonderful host we have stayed with. The breakfast he prepared each morning was one of the highlights of our trip and the town of Montichiello is so charming. The only note I would have for staying here is that you absolutely need a car to reach the neighboring towns of Pienza and Montepulciano. But I would absolutely, 100% recommend this stay to any friends or family.

Nice room, I really enjoyed my stay even though it was just for 2 nights. The owner is really friendly and helpful, if you like to cycle, he can help you create a tailored tour of the area. Breakfast was awesome! I loved the pancakes and the fruit salad! I’ll definitely come back, because that area deserves more than 2 days. Thanks for your help, all the best and see you next time.

We just loved the host Francesco, he was so service minded. And we stayed in one of his apartments for three nights. The village of Monticchiello is the cutest ever, with restaurants of top quality! We highly recommend this place! The breakfast is typically in Italian style.

We rented a room in this beautiful traditional house and it came with an entire attic for ourselves, with 3 living rooms, two bathrooms and kitchenette. Francesco is a welcoming host full of suggestions for things to see, also off the beaten track. The bed was big, modern and very comfortable, everything was spotless, at night the silence was absolute and in the morning the breakfast (home made and served by Francesco) was delicious. The town Monticchiello was a surprise because I didn't realize that it's a tiny but magnificent medieval borgo, with wonderful views on the surrounding countryside and Pienza, which is on the next hilltop, and it gets its own share of tourists in the weekends. On the upside, it's easy to eat well in one of the three restaurants/wine bars without having to take the car and go elsewhere. I can't recommend this place enough!

La Casa di Adelina is located in the charming and very typical village of Montichiello, which is ideally situated to enjoy the Tuscan countryside and visit Pienza and the Val d'Orcia. We had the courtyard room, which is very comfortable. The common areas are also very pleasant. Francesco is a very attentive host, always available to give helpful advice, and we thank him again for his hospitality.

Wonderful place to relax. We were there in August for one night during our motorcycle tour, highly recommended, in Val d'Orcia and Crete Senesi. Francesco is an excellent host and provided us with valuable advice for the continuation of the tour. The breakfast was good. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 4 nights in May 2023 in the attic of La Casa di Adelina which is truly a gem, even though in some points you have to be careful not to bump into the ceiling or beams because, being a sloping roof, in some points it is really low, especially in the bathroom, where there is actually a bathtub instead of a shower. The owner, Francesco, is an extremely helpful, courteous person who is attentive to his guests and cooks delicious breakfasts! Monticchiello is a charming village that has preserved in its historic center the features of the past, with a stunning view to enjoy outside the walls and convenient to all the tourist sites in the vicinity. We highly recommend this B&B, located in the historic center.

4 wonderful days at Casa di Adelina, thanks also to Francesco who kindly offered us an upgrade to the Tower House room with a breathtaking view! The breakfast is abundant and of high quality with fresh products, served in the large historic hall of the main residence. Monticchiello is the most authentic village in Val d'Orcia, and in the evening we were very happy to return to the village, enjoying the beautiful weather and the spectacular sunset to admire from the benches positioned at the entrance of the village. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back!

Very well-kept B&B, tastefully furnished with high-quality finishes: the shower unit was a rain Jacuzzi, the linen was of good quality, and the mattress very comfortable. The host was very nice and helpful. The breakfast could be improved a bit, consisting of high-quality products and enriched by an excellent chestnut crepe, but a bit stingy in portions, lacking savory items and served a bit too slowly (the coffee arrived at least 10 minutes after the food).

The B&B, if we want to call it so, is a successful blend of ancient and modern filled with a handful of childhood memories. Very clean, tidy and with a shower that drives away thoughts. It's the stay you would want but just don't expect! The breakfast is the expression of love for the little things from the service to the food prepared with care and simplicity. Another noteworthy thing about the B&B is the centrally located position for excursions, immersed in a splendid panorama and located in a small village that is a gem! Splendid and simple at the same time will surely leave you with a magical memory of Val d'Orcia.

Good starting point for the Val d'Orcia. Francesco is a very capable 'host'. La Casa di Adelina is very beautiful, historic and excellently furnished. We stayed in the attic, which has spacious areas (bedroom, two small living rooms, bathroom, kitchenette). So it is also suitable for long stays. The breakfast is also very good, with homemade products. A few steps away there are at least a couple of excellent restaurants. The only weak point is that, being an attic, in some points the ceiling is a bit low (the major issues are for example in the bathroom). But it is certainly not an insurmountable flaw. So I definitely recommend the b&b.

We stayed with a couple of friends at La Casa di Adelina in the beautiful village of Monticchiello. Francesco, the manager, literally pampered us with his excellent breakfasts, delighting us with extra sweet treats made by him on the spot (crepes, pancakes, etc.). In addition to this, the structure turned out to be clean and welcoming, completely immersed in the peace and beauty of the surrounding environment. We will definitely come back.

With a couple of friends, we stayed for one night at La Casa di Adelina. An apartment with two bedrooms (one attic), two bathrooms, and a living room-kitchen area. Recently renovated and tastefully furnished spaces. A two-story stone structure in the historic center, just a stone's throw from a splendid view of the Val d'Orcia. Welcomed by Francesco with courtesy and kindness. He served us a plentiful breakfast of warm focaccia, sweets, jams, etc.

I must thank Francesco who was a truly exquisite host, helpful and made us feel like exceptional guests. The location in the historic center of Monticchiello (a fraction of Pienza) is truly enchanting, from the windows you can enjoy the landscape towards the hills that surround the village. The B&B is equipped with all comforts, the rooms and services have been recently renovated and despite the abundant snowfall that covered the entire Val d'Orcia, at La Casa di Adelina the warmth is guaranteed in every environment. The typically Italian breakfast was plentiful and pleasant. We will definitely return to be guests at La Casa di Adelina, to enjoy the Val d'Orcia in spring or summer. We definitely recommend staying at La Casa di Adelina, you won't regret it.

Beautiful location, incredible silence and atmosphere. Excellent breakfast and welcome. The only tiny downside, compared to the strengths, is the somewhat cramped bathroom which led to the lack of a bidet, something essential for us Italians.
