Casafornaciari is a beautiful Liberty-style villa, built in the early 1900s by my grandfather and later expanded by my parents. In 1999, I began a careful renovation, transforming it into the welcoming home that you are invited to explore today.

With over ten years of experience in hospitality and a life dedicated to engaging with the public, I am deeply motivated to understand and meet the needs of my guests. My aim is to make you feel at home, allowing you the freedom to focus solely on reaching us; we will take care of everything else.

The central location makes Casafornaciari an ideal choice for those seeking convenience and relaxation. The sea, shopping center, and park are just a short walk away. The house, peaceful and inviting, will captivate you with unforgettable breakfasts designed to pamper you and give you a delightful start to your day.

The four rooms are inspired by the colors and scents of the garden, evoking the essences of basil, lavender, mint, and sage. Every detail is crafted to provide you with a stay that combines the charm of tradition with genuine and warm hospitality.

In the spacious room, a generous breakfast is served, consisting of hot drinks, fresh milk, yogurt, bread, toast, biscuits, croissants or other bakery products, cereals, butter, jam or preserves, fruit juice, fresh fruit, and organic products upon request. A savory breakfast is also available upon request for intolerances or allergies.

Hello. I enjoyed staying at Casa Fornaciari. Many thanks to Monica and Leyla! For the future, I would prefer a larger room a little farther from the kitchen because I like to sleep longer in the morning. Monica and Leyla noticed this about me and tried to accommodate my morning sleep; thanks a lot! Casa Fornaciari has a great location: five minutes from the sea and ten minutes from the train station. A fantastic stay - one of the best in our month long tour around Italy. Lovely hosts, in a beautiful old building - which is perfectly located between the station and the beach, and central to all that Viareggio has to offer. Great value for money & highly recommended.

The accommodation is very nice, especially the operators are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there is no parking available in the area, which caused us enormous problems.

Very pleasant stay. Monica and Raffaela are very kind and accommodating. The breakfast couldn't have been more to my tastes. Raffaela makes wonderful pastries; often you can smell the scents of homemade items. It was seven days of pleasant relaxation in excellent company. Thanks to both.

The property is well located,a 5-minute walk from the waterfront promenade. It has a nice garden where I could enjoy a breakfast with all the essentials. Above all, the delicious homemade pastries are worth mentioning. The staff are very kind. They fulfilled every request of mine.

At Casa Fornaciari, you feel like you are at a friend's house. The property is in a perfect location and the room, although small, has everything you need at a fair price. The shaded outdoor garden provides relief on these hot days.

Casa Fornaciari is a B&B 100 meters from the seafront of Viareggio. The rooms are clean and just the right size. Mrs. Monica will help you with anything you need. In summer, breakfast is served in a lovely little garden. The property is conveniently located for both the sea and the pine forest. Parking is available nearby. For 5€ a day. They also take care of this at the B&B. What can I say, recommended.

At Casa Fornaciari you feel right at home. The mentality and philosophy of the B&B are absolutely palpable, where you can also use the shared kitchen to prepare something to eat and store your things in the guests' fridge. Our stay at this property was very pleasant. The welcome and care of the owners enhanced the experience - we felt comfortable from the first day, having a spacious, clean room with private access to the garden. Our days started with a varied and good breakfast, in the company of Raffaella, a delightful and friendly person - it was nice to sip coffee and have a chat about future projects. Making the atmosphere even sweeter and more familiar were the little house puppies! We recommend an extended stay, also considering the proximity to the station and especially to the promenade - with all the essential services, shops, and the sea! Thank you 🎶

Very nice and very comfortable structure, close to the train station and also close to the sea. The ladies very kind, nice and helpful. We had a great time, the only flaw is the shower without a tray… but you get used to it.

Austere and strict person, lack of willingness to meet specific customer requests. During the stay, the only service received was the bed remake (never a change of towels or cleaning of the bathroom/room, unpleasant smell in the room). Breakfast starting from 8:00 in the morning. I requested (due to wanting to leave early in the morning) the possibility of autonomously consuming the available sweets, without waiting for 8:00 with the consequent renunciation of fruit, fruit juices, and coffee, etc... Although the request was fulfilled on the last day, residues of sweets from the three days with crumbs around. I felt more like an unwanted guest in someone else's house (excluding compensation) with a guardian who didn't even invite to enjoy the garden for breakfast or for the cool evening. At lower prices, I have lived much better. The lowest rating is certainly on the welcome, not even a smile.

La ringrazio per avermi fatto notare tutte le pecche della nostra struttura. Faremo di tutto per migliorare. Per le pulizie mi dispiace ma come da regole scritte nel foglio che aveva nella camera, si fanno al terzo giorno di pernottamento. Per il prezzo sicuramente con 60€ a notte potrà trovarsi molto meglio di così. Le recensioni negative ci fanno sempre piacere: sia per migliorarci, sia per fugare il dubbio che troppe recensioni positive siano pagate. E poi lei ha come indirizzo mail “gioconda”immagino che sia indice di una persona serena e accomodante.Grazie ancora

The small but cozy Casa Fornaciari B&B is located very close to the sea and the Viareggio station. The staff welcomed me kindly, making me feel at home, especially during breakfast served in the garden. The quality of service compared to the price is good. I would gladly return for another mini vacation. The only flaw is that the room was really very humid. Also, I would suggest putting a mirror in the room, as the only one present is in the bathroom, which is not very practical.

I slept in a single room that probably belonged to the owners' children, as it contains a desk and a bookcase with all the volumes. Cute vintage stickers on the door. Room still neat and clean, very nice bathroom available.

I stayed at Casa Fornaciari B&B for only two nights. I arrived very late the first night. The owners were kind, and there is a family atmosphere. The location is definitely a plus. The rooms have remained exactly as they were when the property was a house and not a bed and breakfast. Perhaps a restyling with fewer knick-knacks would have been preferred. Breakfast is served either in the garden or indoors if it's raining. The cups and saucers used are from their services, sometimes mismatched, but this gives the stay a 'homey' feeling. I was not provided with any towels or shower towel, I had to manage on my own. Some extra attention would have certainly increased my satisfaction. My rating is 6 1/2.

Charming Liberty-style villa with a delightful garden, a short walk from the sea and the pine forest. The environment is clean and very welcoming, an ideal place for families with children and pets. The fridge and coffee machine available to guests are appreciated. The quadruple room is spacious and cool, furnished in an original way. The bathroom is small but functional. The buffet breakfast is very rich (with pastries, yogurt, cereals, juices, seasonal fruit). A special mention goes to Raffaella's desserts, a real delight for the palate! It's a pity we only stayed for two nights, but we hope to return soon!

The breakfast is really good. Raffaella's cakes are amazing, comparable to those of a pastry shop. Since I have lactose intolerance, Raffaella prepared delicious lactose-free cakes for me.

Casa Fornaciari is strategically located for a car-free vacation. Just a stone's throw from the sea, with a affiliated bathing establishment and a short walk from the Pineta di Ponente where you can rent bicycles and use them throughout your stay. Monica and Lella are two wonderful, welcoming and very helpful people. The room is cool even without using the air conditioning and has a fridge with a freezer compartment. Parking is on the street (pay attention to street cleanliness) but you can pay for a subscription for the entire stay on the premises. Abundant and always varied breakfast thanks to the delicacies prepared by Lella and Monica. I highly recommend!

Externally nice structure with a convenient location. However, I recommend renewing the set of towels-shower and bathroom (rough at body scrub level), maintenance is needed for the toilet flush (very noisy) and giving a clean to the air conditioner filters. Very convenient the fridge and freezer for common use by guests. Everything else ok.

2 nights in this property, 50 meters from the seafront of Viareggio, especially lively in the evening until late, serviced, but very quiet. Excellent welcome, availability, discretion, and kindness.\nExcellent and plentiful breakfast, although a few salty items are missing (perhaps omelettes and some cold cuts would be appreciated). Otherwise, truly excellent in every way.

I was enticed by the good reviews but the reality I found was quite different. I am sorry but I am forced to write a not very positive review. The room was without air conditioning (in the middle of August) with the window facing a small internal courtyard (on the ground floor next to the kitchen) which the owner had turned into a kind of storage room, where there is everything. On the phone she (or the other owner) had instead informed me that all the rooms were equipped with air conditioning and it is also written on the website. Instead, there was only an old fan that worked very little. The room had a bad smell (perhaps coming from the courtyard). The owner did not provide me with any information upon my arrival (breakfast time, etc.) because she was in a hurry and did not even register my document. Even though the price of the room was rather low, it was money wasted because a room like that does not allow you to rest or do anything. I mentioned my discomfort at the time of payment but the lady did not seem very interested in listening to me and I paid the agreed price in full.

Bearing in mind that my evaluation is due to purely subjective factors (it's not a whirlpool that makes me raise a vote nor the marble or cutting-edge furniture in the Casa Fornaciari B&B), my evaluation is always based on few things: how I felt, how I experienced the holiday, how I feel when I leave. \nCasa Fornaciari B&B is a structure, in every sense, the unique welcome from Lella and Monica, smiles and attentions always. \nThe structure, an old Viareggio house (as explained to me by Monica) that fascinates you just by looking at it. \nAntique furniture, breakfast plates that you use just for the pleasure of looking at them. \nHaving breakfast with them is a reason to start the day with a smile, sweet and savory always fresh (the goodness of the products is a given). A little garden that reminds you of home. \nIn short, if you want not just a vacation, but a vacation in your own home, come on in. I can't tell you more.\nDon't expect a 5-star perhaps for the room or the bathroom (which still gave us full satisfaction!). But a 5-star for the soul and the body. \nThank you Monica and Lella.

Cleanliness, courtesy, discretion, maximum attention to the customer/guest, friendliness, professionalism, availability. Delicious breakfasts, possibility to have meals outdoors, use of the kitchen (very clean and equipped with everything). We also tried the dinner and were very satisfied. I only stayed for one night because I was passing through, but both my husband and I were very satisfied. Family atmosphere with friendly staff. Clean and spacious room. Tasty and plentiful breakfast. The structure hosted our dog despite not being small in size, which made us even more satisfied. We will definitely come back.

We spent Easter holidays here, too bad we only stayed for three days because it's worth it! Availability and kindness are the main features. I was really satisfied with the facility and the availability of the owners who took care of my husband and son in an absolutely fantastic way. We are a family with an 8-year-old child. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, but I must say that the structure deserves to stay there much longer. Friendliness, cleanliness, and a breakfast like from a homemade pastry boutique! Congratulations and then just a stone's throw from the promenade. What more could you ask for?
