Locanda dei Fiori

It was the best B&B I found on this site. It is situated in a quiet corner of the city centre: my window overlooked the historic San Bartolomeo church, it was 2–3 minutes to the central square with the cathedral and the Palazzo Comunale, and about 15–20 minutes to the railway station. My room had a nice old style: a great bed, an old wardrobe, an armchair and curtains, and at the same time a modern bathroom. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The hostess was very polite and friendly. Pistoia is a very interesting city (three churches with Romanesque-Gothic pulpits, a cathedral with a silver altar, and the civic museum with great paintings). It is easy to go from Pistoia to Prato, Florence and Lucca. I highly recommend both Pistoia and the B&B Locanda dei Fiori.

Everything was great. Breakfast was good and a big bedroom.

When we arrived the room was super dirty. Old hair in the shower, white spots on the tap. Cleaned the surfaces and disinfected them and had a brown towel afterwards. The breakfast was super boring no fruits or vegetables. Only prepacked stuff and every morning the same. No vegetable milk. Also the whole apartment smelled funny and the way to the backyard and the garage felt more like a flea market. Only good thing, the lady at the reception was really nice, you have a little fridge in the room and the parking garage is for free use. Wouldn't stay there again though. Feels like the whole complex needs a renovation as it’s not fallen out of time but out of date. Not worth the price.

The Locanda dei Fiori is a wonderful B&B: perfect location in the old town, lockable garage where you can leave all your luggage in the car, very quiet, perfect, friendly and helpful hosts, large airy rooms with excellent bathroom, great breakfast selection, all sights, restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance in no time. You can't ask for more.

Charming Bed and Breakfast located in Pistoia, a city with a great heritage and a great atmosphere for going out to dinner or having a drink. Both the owners and the city's location give you the opportunity to get to know Tuscany without the hassle of the overcrowding of tourists found in Florence and Pisa. If I return to visit the area, I will repeat without hesitation.

Highly recommended accommodation. The couple who run it are very friendly and make your life easier to the fullest. If I go back to Pistoia, I will return to Locanda dei Fiori.

It was wonderful to stay at this B&B. A unique place, a lovely person like Cinzia. I recommend it!

Great structure, clean and spacious room, good breakfast, friendly hosts and staff. Being in a historic building the soundproofing could be better. Overall, we had a good time and recommend it.

B&B in the center, large and well furnished. Charming period structure, satisfactory breakfast and especially a lot of kindness from the staff. I will return.

Mrs. Cinzia was very kind and welcoming. She also provided us with precise indications regarding the parking of the car. The room was large and very comfortable.

Our room was spacious and clean, a beautiful four-poster bed for us and two single beds for the kids. The breakfast was very good, with sweet and savory options, cappuccino, and fruit juices. The location was nice, just a stone's throw from the Duomo. We also took advantage of the free covered parking space in a small garage on the ground floor of the same building.

Cinzia is precise and helpful. The structure is housed in a beautiful building in the center. Perfect location to visit the city. Breakfast is simple but varied, sweet and savory. Also, there are non-industrial pastries.

We stayed for a very short time, so I can't say much... The location of the b&b is good, close to the center, close to public transportation. Clean room, good breakfast, the host was helpful and kind in showing us how to access the room as they couldn't be present at the time of our arrival. Free parking available, very convenient.

My judgment is absolutely positive. The location of the structure is central, just 5 minutes walk from the Duomo, but it is located in a quiet area. The room was large and spacious, with a good breakfast offered. The directions to access the structure were clear. I would recommend going back, also because Pistoia really deserves a visit!

Excellent structure, clean and in a strategic position, also a strong point is the private parking and certainly the courtesy of the hosts. To recommend because this is definitely the best time to visit the beautiful Tuscany.

I stayed with my husband for only one night. We were welcomed with all the possible availability to make us feel comfortable. Various hot and cold drinks are available to guests at all times in the structure. Very charming structure, with more than comfortable spaces and perfect cleanliness. The managers are of excellent friendliness. The structure is practically very close to the historic center, so you can walk around the city without having to take any means of transportation. Garage available. Thank you for everything!

What a wonderful place, a stone's throw from the center, delightful structure, very kind and helpful managers, they gave us excellent advice to visit the beautiful Pistoia and for a fantastic lunch at the Locanda del Capitano. If you are planning a holiday in Pistoia, Locanda dei Fiori is perfect for you!

Everything is in favor of a positive judgment. Excellent location, very cute managers, comfortable accommodation, and let's not forget the very good breakfast. Much appreciated the possibility of preparing a drink at any time of the day. To return.

The location of the structure is perfect for visiting the city without needing a car. It is just a few hundred meters from the restricted traffic area, in a quiet area. Breakfast is always good with cakes and even figs from the garden (in season). The owners are very helpful in providing directions about the city and offering materials and brochures. Air-conditioned rooms with terracotta floors, palace and rooms renovated with great taste.

We stayed at this property for 2 nights during the Pistoia Blues Festival and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a few days in Pistoia and get to know the city. The structure can be said to be just a stone's throw from the historic center but at the same time very quiet. The managers are two exquisite and helpful people; ready to meet all the guests' needs. The rooms are tastefully furnished, very comfortable bed and the breakfast rich in drinks, homemade cakes and fruit. Fantastic idea to have a water and drinks dispenser always available and in these very hot days it was very useful. Thank you Cinzia and Vladimiro and we hope to come back soon.

Very central structure, a few minutes from the station and from Piazza del Duomo. Clean and well-kept rooms, very cute idea of giving each room the name of a flower, hence the name of the B&B. The managers are very nice and very helpful, excellent breakfast with cakes, cookies, fruit and even some cold cuts. I stayed in this splendid central and quiet inn. The Purple room is single, spacious, tastefully furnished, and with a brand new bathroom. The breakfast caters to all tastes, from sweet to savory, and is a rich and varied buffet. The cakes are fabulous! In the breakfast area, there are hot and cold drinks vending machines available 24 hours a day free of charge. The owner is extremely delightful, discreet, and helpful. I felt pampered. I will be back!

Hello to all those who are about to read about my experience in this establishment 'Locanda dei Fiori', my name is Giuseppe and I am from Pomigliano d'Arco. As you well know, very often today a young person is forced to emigrate to other regions or countries both for work and to attend a simple job interview. Balancing in one place a structure worthy of being called such and hospitality from the internal staff akin to a real family, where the priority is to take care of what affects everyone a little at the beginning, namely 'The stress of the first impact in a new context'. Finding the right balance between the two requests is not easy at all, because the success rate in this case is very low, but, as you well know, there are events that go beyond normality. I can personally testify in this establishment to have experienced such an event and I thank Vladimiro and Cinzia once again for making all this happen, I really hope to see you again very soon. We stayed for two nights in the top floor apartment, consisting of a very large double room, a single room, bathroom, separate living room + kitchen from the bedrooms, very large entrance hallway. The apartment also has a small balcony overlooking the garden and the side of the ancient church of San Bartolomeo. The structure is ancient but well renovated, the stairs rather steep but wide, located a stone's throw from the pedestrian center of Pistoia: the position is appreciated, secluded from traffic but very convenient to reach the center on foot (two minutes) and absolute silence both day and night; there is also a private garage not always available because rather small. The managers are very kind, extremely caring and available for any problem; the room was very clean and tidy and equipped with wifi, TV, refrigerator; there is no air conditioning for now, but we saw the preparation for the system, so it will probably be installed soon. Very abundant and varied breakfast, sweet/savory, drinks available 24 hours for free,. The only small downside, but we did not suffer because we were on the top floor: the breakfast room communicates directly with two guest rooms, so it is better to request, if possible, accommodation in the other rooms to avoid being disturbed in the morning by those having breakfast Overall the rating goes from 9 to 10.

The main reason I chose, and recommend, this B&B is the garage: the historic center of Pistoia has street parking reserved for residents and in the two days we were there I never saw a free spot! Honestly, I don't know where we would have parked if it wasn't for the garage! The B&B is located in an ancient building in the center. We were on the second and top floor. Of course, no elevator. With a small child, this means "lifting weight" every time you go up and down. But usually the B&B is a base point for exploring the surroundings, so it all boiled down to twice a day: in the morning when we went out and in the evening when we returned. So no particular inconvenience. Spacious double room furnished with care in a mix of ancient and modern, like the whole B&B. Free camping cot for the child. We really appreciated it! Huge bathroom! Large shower. Enough to be able to bathe together with the baby in complete comfort, without bumping into each other with every movement. The breakfast deserves a special mention: a starred hotel breakfast! What you usually find at a hotel buffet, you will also find it here! We had a great time. We look forward to going back!

I found myself staying here for just one night, as I was passing through Pistoia with my family for a baptism. We booked 3 separate double bedrooms, one of which we needed an extra bed for a 4-year-old girl, and wonderfully we were offered the suite at the same price as the room + the extra bed to be paid separately. The suite was excellent, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, with a real kitchen and a huge table (the classic large table), also antique. I was lucky enough to stay in the room with the beautiful 18th-century wooden canopy bed (see photos), it looked like a bride's room... very spacious indeed, but my relatives' rooms were just as nice. I loved the mix of old and modern here and there in the rooms and throughout the beautiful completely renovated 18th-century palace, I loved even more the touch of femininity in the various objects and knick-knacks arranged with grace and style in every corner, like in a private home and not the usual coldness of a hotel room. Speaking with the owners, 2 delightful young people, I expressed my complete approval for this very warm furnishing, my feeling was exactly what they wanted to achieve... make you feel like in a beautiful home, yours, tastefully furnished and clean, rich in every need. In the room there was every comfort: minibar (full), TV, telephone, air conditioning, free and unlimited Wi-Fi, safe, private bathroom (new, nice and clean) with hairdryer, and then private guarded and closed garage, not to mention the mattresses, comfortable and new, and all the clean and fragrant linen. A stone's throw from the historic center of Pistoia, which unfortunately we did not manage to visit due to time constraints, but which we plan to see in the future. The internal courtyard is splendid, in summer it is certainly possible to make good use of it, not anymore now. Rich and abundant breakfast, even though for hot and cold drinks you have to use self-service machines, which however give you the chance to sip a nice hot tea even at 2 in the morning if you feel like it, so I don't mind at all, as I read in other reviews. Thank you Mrs. Cinzia, and her husband, and their daughter, whom I disturbed several times to confirm our arrivals. It was a very pleasant stay, a pity it was short, but to be redone without any delay. See you soon!

I visited Pistoia with my husband, through the tourist office we found this charming Locanda dei Fiori not far from the historic center and we were favorably impressed by the kindness and availability of Mrs. Cinzia and her husband. The room was spacious and tastefully furnished, impeccable cleanliness, abundant and varied breakfast. Availability of garage included in the price which is not to be underestimated in the center of a city. To come back. Pistoia is a pleasant town to visit with a beautiful historic center. We will return.

I felt very comfortable: Cinzia and her husband are very kind and helpful, the structure is located a stone's throw from the Duomo but the street is still very quiet and peaceful. In addition, guests have access to the garage included in the price (which is not common in the center of Pistoia). Both the rooms and the entire structure are tastefully furnished and very clean. Breakfast is self-service and very rich and varied (both sweet and savory with excellent homemade cakes). The value for money is definitely excellent. I recommend it.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The location is excellent. The room is very beautiful.

We had a very good time, the rooms and the bathroom are very spacious and clean. We were able to take advantage of a convenient garage. Mrs. Cinzia and her husband are very courteous and helpful people. It is definitely a structure to recommend.

I stayed with my wife at the Locanda dei Fiori during the New Year period. I found hospitality, comfort, and cleanliness, as well as a garage that is not easy to find in Pistoia for a modest cost. What can I say, if you need to stay in Pistoia, I highly recommend it.

My partner and I were very well. The rooms and the bathroom are very clean and nice. The mattress is comfortable and it was surprising to find, among other things, even a small razor with a tube of shaving cream and a small travel toothbrush with toothpaste. We were also able to use a large garage adjacent to the structure and closed with an automatic shutter. Our little dog was also very happy. One negative criticism: why not offer a real coffee, a real cappuccino? I hate those automatic machines in the morning. They certainly do not make good coffee. However, it is just a small detail, compared to other much more important things that we certainly found at the Locanda dei Fiori: friendliness, cleanliness, comfort, tranquility, order, attention to details, and excellent price.
