Palazzi del Papa is a charming estate featuring a swimming pool, nestled in the lush greenery of Val d’Orcia, just a few kilometers from Pienza, the ideal town established in the 15th century by Pope Pius II. Located within the Lucciola Bella Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2004, this agriturismo boasts a prime location surrounded by the picturesque landscape of the Crete Senesi and is close to the historic Via Francigena, which is traveled annually by tourists and pilgrims heading to Rome.

Val d’Orcia is an area of exceptional beauty, characterized by gentle hills dotted with medieval villages and traversed by the Orcia River. In this unique setting lies the farmhouse, built in the 1930s by Marquis Origo, now an ideal spot for those seeking a relaxing holiday immersed in nature.

Guests can start their day with a hearty breakfast featuring local zero-kilometer products, served every morning from 8 to 10. From April to September, it is possible to book dinners featuring traditional Tuscan dishes, while those interested in honing their culinary skills can request cooking classes.

Every morning, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast made with organic, locally sourced products: homemade cakes and biscuits expertly crafted by the owner Sabrina, organic jams and honey produced on the farm, fresh yogurt from a nearby dairy, as well as Tuscan cured meats and cheeses.

We chose this property by chance, but once we arrived, reality exceeded our expectations. It has been heavenly days. The outdoor spaces, the English lawn, the pool, the leisure and relaxation facilities, the flowers, all meticulously cared for. Sabrina moved us with her kindness, availability, and courtesy by offering us a larger accommodation than requested, furnished with unparalleled comforts. This must be added to the maximum cleanliness of the premises and abundant (sweet and savory) breakfasts with genuine zero-kilometer food. Thank you Sabrina, you have remained in our hearts and your property will be a beacon for our future trips and those of our friends.

Truly beautiful structure immersed in greenery. Spacious rooms, extremely clean and equipped with all comforts. Top breakfast with homemade sweets, yogurt and fresh cheeses and a great variety of choices. Very kind and friendly staff. Definitely worth coming back.
