Welcome to Valle Po, a magical place where nature and adventure come together, from the highest peaks to the sources of the Po River, from ski slopes to snowy woods. Here, you can rejuvenate while surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. At Meira, in addition to enjoying the tranquility of the valley, you will have the chance to support the projects of Sermig (Young Missionary Service), as all proceeds will be donated to this association.
Meira is a holiday home that offers a unique opportunity for mindful vacationing, where your stay helps fund solidarity initiatives. Founded by Sermig, an organization established in 1964 through the vision of Ernesto Olivero, it is dedicated to combating hunger, promoting social justice, and fostering peace. The revenues support activities for the underprivileged and youth.
The facility features four studios accommodating 2 to 4 people, each with a private bathroom, and two spacious dormitories (for 8 and 12 guests) equipped with bunk beds, along with three bathrooms (one accessible). The large kitchen and living area on the upper floor can seat 20 for meals, and there is a lounge area with a TV and board games. Meira is an ideal retreat for those seeking a service experience or a stay in a sustainable tourism setting. Rather than being commercially driven, the proceeds serve as a self-funding tool that supports Sermig’s projects both in Italy and abroad.
Restored by architect Maurino, Meira has been designed to allow the young people and children of Sermig to experience the beauty of Valle Po while also offering you the chance to combine relaxation with solidarity.
